Sea Of Lies

TouchofFUNder and Shimmytar arrive on the scene. Touch is wearing bare to the bod bluejeans and a sexy halter top, while her accomplice Shimmy is dressed in slacks and a white lace top. Both waltz into the room with confidence everyone turns to see, who has arrived. They take instant control and ask that everyone please line up against the right wall while they process the scene. They ask Almighty Aphrodite to make sure that no one leaves the room. She has been working on the ship for the longest, and so she is the one person, who is not suspected by Touch and Shimmy. Smallmonk stomps his foot, trying to gain the attention of the others aboard the ship, once he has everyone's attention he states, he will not go anywhere. "I don’t know where you two came from, but I was on the scene first, and I suggest you let me asset you" Suspiciously Touch says she will allow him to asset, but it would be in his best interest to stay as much out of the way as possible. The lights flicker, but no one says a word.  Shimmy sends Smallmonk to go and investigate and suggests that he takes Poetryality with him. She is a beautiful and sassy woman and they think that she can keep him in his place while they do the real investigating. 1

While Almighty is flirting with Balladeer, RoughRider and her Tia Angelica sneak out the back door of the kitchen. They are sure that since the detectives did not do a head count, they will not notice they are missing. Rough lets on to Angelica they she does not think that Touch or Shimmy are being completely truthful. No one had seen them on the ship before, and after someone gets murdered, they show up out of thin air. The two agree, something is not right with those two and they are determined to find out what. While making their way to the Captains cabin to see if they can find any clues, they run into Atsielorion who had gotten sick from dinner and was lying down in her cabin. Rough tells her that it is not safe to be alone and that no one can be trusted. Angelica extends an offer for her to join them in their independent investigation. Ats agrees, but asks why she should not suspect them. Rough tells her that if it where them, and they had wanted to hurt her, they would have done so when they saw her come out of her cabin. Ats determines that is probably true and so she agrees to join them, but asks what it is they are looking for. Angelica explains that they are unsure of what they are looking for, but when they find it, they will know. 2

Back at the lounge, the lights have gone out, as screams echo through the high ceilings, Poetryality rushes into the room, she says that she and Smallmonk where trying to find the breaker, Smallmonk passed out. When she left him in the basement, she did not think he was breathing. She had run all the way back to the lounge for help. Touch tells Shimmy she is going to go with Poetryality to see if they can save Smallmonk. Shimmy says confidently that she will hold down the fort until they got back. 3

Poetryality takes Touch to where she left Smallmonk but he is no where to be found. Touch asks Poetryality if she is sure this is where she left the monk, she says yes, she doesn’t understand what was going on. The two of them find the breaker and go back to the lounge where the lights have been restored, though, they also discover that Shimmy is lying on the floor in a pool of blood and Haikumonk is missing. 4

A death they thought was a death turned out to be quite the opposite. Now that both Monk's were missing they knew it must have been them who were responsible for Kevin's murder, but there was no clear motive. And the untimely death of Shimmy is also a mystery. No one heard her scream and no one had notices she was dead until the lights came back on. With two people missing and two people dead, Touch knew that she could not solve this mystery on her own. She asks Topaz135 for her assistance. Topaz claims that she does not know what has happened and that she can not pick up a reading of the situation. They turn to Barbara to see if she has any opinions on who might be to blame. But Barbara says that no one has been talking lately, but she suspects that Smallmonk is involved. Though, this was not a new observation, Touch asked why she thought this. Barbara said that Smallmonk was getting his hair cut yesterday, and asked her if there had ever been a death on the ship, she thought this was a little odd,  coming from a cop, but had just brushed it off, as a curious question. 5

Touch decides that it might be best to question all the participants on the ship. She would take half of them and Barbara would take the other half. Ogreatbaldone was the first to be questioned by Touch and she did not go easy on  him, and she found out exactly how long he had been employed on the ship, which was a questions, no one had ever known the answer too. She decided that Ogreat was telling her the truth and allowed him to go back to his seat. She then questioned Ann DeMeaner, her conclusion was that even though she probably did murder her six husbands she had no motive to hurt Kevin nor did she know anyone who did. Barbara interviewed Kirbysman though she was tough she could not get any useful information out of him. The questioning went one, including the questioning of Rhianon 11,Maatkara, Kasdeja, Random Master and Fluttaby who were all very well known on the ship for the services they provided . This was getting them no where and there was still a murderer on the lose. 6

There was a worry on the ship, who was going to guide them home. Ogreat said that he had a boat at home, that he would be glad to guide the ship. With no other options, they agreed. Barbara was sent to watch over him and Topaz135 was left to watch over Almighty and Balladeer, while everyone was watching Touch very closely these two had been on the floor of the kitchen, when Ann DeMeaner had gone to get something to drink, she found them half clothed on the floor. They seemed very  unconcerned with the situation and so they were suspect. 7

Touch left Rhianon 11 to watch over the crowd while she went to see if she could find any clues. When she opened the door to the Captains office, there she found Angelica and Ats bound by their hands and feet and Rough sitting in the big conference chair with a smile on her face.  Rough asked why it took her so long to get there. Touch explained that it had not been as easy to get out as she had thought it would be and she did want to be a suspect. "Rough, Did you empty out the fuel?" "of course I did, if nothing else, I had enough time" The two of them then rushed off to the basement where Haikumonk and Smallmonk were waiting for them. Haiku said to Rough, "I thought you had changed her mind" She walked over to him and kissed him passionately. "I would never change my mind about you, baby" Touch rolled her eyes, "If you two are done making out, can we get on with this" The four of them got into the boat they had been towing and sailed away to a new life. Touch turned to Smallmonk with a smile on her face, "See honey, I told that you that Ann DeMeaner never leaves her money behind, she doesn’t trust the bank, so she takes it with her wherever she goes."8

Who would have thought the motive would be robbery? 9
