the gate

i stood before a gigantic barrier wall in front of giant fortress doors,1

painted yellow and black like a loading zone.2

" Yog-sothoth mreomunow" i barked at the doors3

the yellow light started spinning and flashing, and alarms went beep beep beep4

the giant doors opened and millenia of dust fell from the seams5

it was really loud too like they were scraping on gravel6

i stepped back and made the sign that said "be kind to me for i am the same"7

and waited. suddenly a crazy sound ,not a roar not a scream but both and neither8

"cool its working" i thought as a dozen or so nasty looking critters came rushing through and formed ranks on either side9

again that weird scream roar whatever sound. the nasty critters looked at me 10

and then decided to ignore me ." cool this is a good sign " i thought11

and then they answered the scream noise with an even weirder noise that seemed like a language of grunts growls snips and wails.12

"cmon baby lets have a look at you" i was thinking with excitement as i waited for the gatekeeper to come through.13

more screams but this time like people screams and animal screams and from whatever the gate keeper was laughter. i knew this because laughter is the universal language so yep it was definetly laughter.14

the monsters on either side snapped to attention and through the gate came 15

Yog sothoth the gatekeeper.16

" wow now thats ugly" i thought making sure i remembered the sign that would keep me safe.17

it walked or slided and walked rather up to me as i held up the sign18

" uhm so hows cthulhu" was the only thing that came to my mind to say19

it roared in my face talk about bad breath, yuck20

but it was good to know that cthulhu was fine and would be coming by later21

as he and i go way back.22

" momof cragetnog zuet cha mu" i asked 23

it roared a short response24

" Yog sothoth" i said and the creature slash monster laughed25

she loved those knock knock jokes.26

she said bye and went into the world.27
