A cool breeze ran up my spine, as I asked myself where I was. A whole new world in front of me. How to get out? What to do? The plain bleach white tiles on the floor were so unfamiliar. The Freshly painted, red lockers that lined the wall burned my eyes. The dark wood doors with no windows made me feel as if I was in prison and behind them people were slowly being tortured. My new High school.1
I slowly made my way down the hall keeping my eyes forward. My goal was to get out of here. I didn’t care if I got detention or anything like that, this place felt wrong and I wanted out. My worn, black converse patted against the floor softly. The bell was to ring in five minutes and that was all the time that I had to get to the doors. The busses had dropped us at the back so all I had to do was work my way to the front. Easier said than done.2
The school was a giant maze. I hit a dead end at every corner, or maybe it was just seemed that way. At one point I felt as if I had traveled in circles, and I probably had. I was feeling so nervous that I was losing my mind. Everything seemed to be bigger and scarier. Once when I had dared to look back a couple of girls were looking at me, their heads bent towards each other talking in whispers. I didn’t look back again.3
I finally had gotten to the front lobby and was almost out the doors when a man stopped me. He was dressed in a khaki security guard uniform. His gray hair started halfway down his head and his eyes were a cold grey. With his arms folded over his chest he asked my where I was going.4
“To my car.” I said shakily. This man was not helping my nervousness.5
“You need a pass to get out to your car.” He spoke with a chill in his voice; as if I was suppose to already know that.6
“Sorry.” I said backing away, clutching my backpack strap. “I’m new. I’ll go get a pass.”7
Before he could say anything else I was headed to the office. I threw the door and over to the secretary. She looked to be in her mid fifties. Her hair was graying and wrinkles covered her face. She looked up at me and smiled. I smiled at her feebly in turn.8
“May I help you?” She asked in a sweet voice. I liked much her better than the security guard. 9
“May I please have a pass to go out to my car?”10
“Of course, what do you need to get?”11
I swallowed trying to think of something. “My flute.” I lied12
She smiled and handed me the pass. I thanked her and walked over to the doors. I showed the security guard my pass and pushed through the doors. Finally I was free.

Good story and everything like that, but I do believe you were writing for Prompt 1? This is about escaping a new WORLD.
But remember, you still have 2 more goes, remember to stick to the prompts, or you could just edit it
