Chapter 11
All the gods gathered for a meeting. They had come to discuss a mortal human named David, who has refused his entire life to praise the gods. His eternal punishment, as they discussed, would be to wander the plane of existence named Taro. The grass here is never cut, and there are wild berries with sticker bushes that grow. Korta, the goddess named so, flew to the temple, her temple. David was there, with medium curly hair, not tall nor short, bright brown hair. There is beautiful polished bronze offerings, gold offerings, and even silver offerings. David left the temple, but Korta did not pursue him. His skin is the color of bronze, he is not ugly by any means. David wears leather fox skin, draping neatly over his broad shoulders.2
"You, stop right there", said Kest, the messenger of the gods.3
David stopped in his tracks, turning his figure to the right. Kest motioned his hand towards his bag of scrolls and handed him the message.4
The city buildings are bright blue and gold. They hovered in the distance. David took the scroll and walked to the city under the blazing blood-orange sun.5
Kest departed without saying goodbye, and he vanished from sight.6
A beautiful young sorceress casted a bind spell on David. David did not move for he was bound by the spell.7
"I've seen you here before, leave or I will destroy you", said the sorceress.8
"Why are you doing this", David silently uttered, the pupils of his eyes dilated, an incantation and broke the spell.9
"I am not only a sorceress, but I am also a bounty hunter. I will spare your life for now", she replied10
Thunder began to break the quietness and lightning struck around. Rain poured across the desolation that is the Ira desert.11
"We will meet again", with that, she left, teleporting to some far away plane.12
David opened the scroll. It read: to David, from: The gods. He began to read it, entering a meditative state. His fingers followed across the page, sounding out the letters. It was not everyday that young David received a message from the gods. They called his attendance for final punishment. David threw it to the ground and ignored the warning. He kept on towards the city to meet Ahava.
