make believe

In a far away land1

With green fields and white sand2

There is magic all around you3

That you can use if you know how to4

And change the world with a wave of the hand.5

Imagination is what you must use6

In order to use the magic however you choose7

And if your mind is creative enough8

And you do the right stuff,9

In this land you will never have the blues.10

Mostly there are only children there11

Because most adults just don't care12

To be in such a place13

They consider it a disgrace14

So to see an adult in that land is rare.15

It is the land of make-believe you know16

The place where children love to go17

To use magic and have fun18

Until the wonderful dream is done19

And they are returned to this world of woe.20

But they will go back there some day21

And than they will joyfully play22

In that magical land23

With green fields and white sand24

And that is where their hearts will truly stay.25
