Once upon a time , in a far-off enchanted kingdom where fairies magic shimmered through the earth , witches made potions in cauldrons and unicorns still roamed the forests there stood a wonderful castle in the land of Magia , the castle was decorated with gold inside and out and in the castle lived the King , Queen and all the princes and Princesses.2

The king and Queen had many beautiful children , but the most beautiful of them all was the youngest who was called princess Luna , her name and her beauty were gifts from the moon because she was born on the day that the Luna calendar says that the moon is in full power. Princess Luna had long silver blonde hair with natural gold tips, her complexion was fair and white and her skin tone was silver, so clear that you could even see her blue veins shine through, her eyes were the most beautiful element about her, at night you can see the moon reflect through her eyes that were round like the moon with a green irises with aqua specs through them and her eyelashes were enormous and fluttery with glitter on each tip. Overall the princess was delicate and neat and the entire kingdom knew about her.3

Her life was always calm and breezy during her childhood and early woman hood, she felt safe knowing that she and her arraigned marriage who was called prince north loved one another, when he and the princess were announced that they were to marry prince North’s family gave the princess a precious necklace with a heart shaped diamond charm with their names on them. His genuine love and pure kindness meant everything to the princess, he was like a shining jewel to her, she felt secure knowing that the kingdom’s future were in her and prince north’s peaceful hands. She was content with her arraigned marriage unlike most royal members throughout the land that were not very fond of their alleged partners. The only person that would change prince north for another was her mother the queen , she thought prince north lacked power that their royal household needed, he was a very nice boy but he was not from one of the high in power royal family’s, the king had accepted Prince North for Princess Luna , because both kings were good friends . The prince was neat, fresh faced and sweet and lived in the castle of the North with his Royal Family, he had brown hair and gold eyes and wore the colour of baby blue like the north castle emblem, he road a white horse and would meet with Princess Luna secretly in her courtyard ever now and then. 4

Everything was going fine for Princess Luna until the word was lead out through the entire kingdom that she and prince North were to marry in the spring months, this news reached every ear in the land from mermaids to wizards. It became the new topic of conversation in every household royal and plain until the news travelled to the most important royal family in the kingdom of Magia, called the Solarusus, they were the chiefs of the sun and their aura ruled and controlled the kingdom, they were by far the most powerful Family in the kingdom and the had the most Magnificent and enormous castle in the land that you could see on every horizon. 5

In this Family there came to be many male figures and one of them called Prince Solarus who had a golden skin tone and a strong build and the best magic and fighting skills out of all the princes in the land. He had his eye on princess Luna for quite some time ,he was the equivalent to her , he was sun and she was moon, he believed that Sun and moon she was moon, he believed that Sun and moon together would be a perfect match and a great alliance to make more power and magic and of course if two celestial object were to marry they would gain immortality and be blessed with splendour. Prince solarus and his family from the most high to the most low had a meeting and made a plan to overthrow and remove prince North’s position and arraigned marriage with princess Luna , after all someone as powerful as prince solarus would never get rejected , no one is his bloodline have ever been rejected by another royal family member , so prince solarus put his foot down and decided to go to the princess and ask for her hand in marriage at the rise of the moon and set of the sun.6

After the meeting Prince Solarus equipped his shield and gold sword , hoped on his valiant black horse and embarked on his journey to seek princess Luna and ask for hand in marriage. After going through every village in Magia he spotted his destination, he wanted to get there as soon as possible so he decided to use his magic, the castle glittered brightly in the sun as he pointed his golden sword at it and then shut his eyes , as he opened hi eyes he found himself near the castle drawbridge and moat. The guards that were guarding at that time recognized prince Solarus for he were very famous , so they let him enter straight away. He proceeded on his horse through the courtyard slowly, the maidens that were in flower decorated cottages that were on the side of the green grass road stared at him through their windows and wondered why someone from such a mighty royal family would find himself in their peaceful and almost insignificant courtyard , their curiosity lead them outside. Prince solarus was lucky to catch the king sitting on his outdoor throne in a foyer near the back entrance of the castle , his throne was surrounded by fountains, stain glass windows and statues of past kings ,queens and legends , goddesses and unicorns in which they worshiped and green ivy twisted through the statues and castle walls. Prince solarus then approached the king took a quick bow and greeted him , the king straight away recognised what royal family prince solarus came from because of his traits and before the King could ask him why he has come to visit him prince solarus said -7

‘I come from a far and fair part of the land8

To ask you daughter princess Luna for her hand9

Even though her marriage is almost set10

I have come to save her from any regret11

For I offer her every thing that is fine12

Tell her about my request so she can become mine’13

The king was very pleased to hear that one of the most powerful bachelors in the kingdom has come to ask for his very own daughter , he would be delighted to say yes for his empires name would go up and any insignificance that his reign has apart from peace would change to power. He let prince solarus know that he was fond of him and he offered him to enter the royal throne room to ask his daughter face to face , the king then soon told his wife the queen and the king and queen lost their heads when they saw true strength and power and a good alliance coming into their hands and forgot about their daughters thoughts and feelings , they just assumed that she would forget about her true love prince North and say yes to the fantastic Prince Solarus.14

Soon the red and royal blue velvet throne room was full of important people and they all waited for princess Luna to arrive to hear about this good news . the princess was with the royal dressers telling them about how she would like her wedding dress to be she had her mind elsewhere when the queen asked her to come to the throne room for an important acquaintance. It was the right time for the announcement , between the set of the sun and the rise of the moon and as soon as she arrived in a pink lace gown and a silver crown prince solarus stood up from his seat and floated to her and took her hand and held it as he said –15

‘O fair silver princess,goddess of the moon16

Your beauty caught my eye not too late and not soon17

The fairest princess in the kingdom is you out of all young and old18

You are the princess of silver and I am the prince of gold19

I am a powerful prince and I come from far20

You are a diamond in my heart you are my shining star21

I have finally found the love of my life22

Princess Luna I have come to ask you to become my wife’23

Princess Luna froze at this surprise that was wonderful news to hear but she had mixed emotions at Prince Solarus’s request to take her as his bride for she loved another. She knew that it would be very good for her to have a powerful husband as him and she knew that her family would be happy if she were to accept him , but her heart would not let her say yes because prince North to her was her oxygen and love in her life and he always has been since she heard about her arrangement when she was very young . she knew that it was the right thing to do to say yes, she knew that only a crazy Princess in the land would refuse someone as great and hansom as him , she did not know weather to follow her heart of her head , but Princess Luna wanted to remain faithful to her heart and Prince North’s heart and decided that she couldn’t go along with Marrying Prince Solarus and also she could sense that he didn’t come for her because he truly loved her , he came to her because he needed her for many reasons ,like as to reinforce his power and gain immortality, though immortality did sound tempting to the princess but what’s a life without love she thought. After a big pause her thoughts came back to the throne room and saw that everbody was waiting for her answer , she pulled her hand out of the princes and stormed out of the throne room and into the courtyard and lifted her lace dress and began to run into the night sky darkness with the only light being the moon beam that would make her skin paler than what it was if she were to walk in it . she them went to the temple of time to pray to the unicorn gods to ask them for guidance and ask them what is the right thing for her to do weather to follow her heart or her head.24

Back in the throne room there was an outrage , everybody began to think why would she say no , or if the reason that she ran away was only because she was shy every person in that throne room began to chatter and chat . The king said to everone to hush up and and wait in silence for the princess to return , the queen was angry and embarrassed at her daughters actions and the prince was furious ‘how could she run away from him’ he thought but he did not show any emotion at all because he was smart and he was taught from when he was young not to show emotion in public. The king left the throne room to go and find the princess in the east wing of the courtyard where the temple of time and cathederal was located , he assumed that she would have gone there because it was one of her favourite places. He took two guards with him to help him search for her , when he arrived at the temple his head spun a little bit because standing on the temple steps and looking up to where to roof top finishes mad him realize how high the temple was , it was so high that it reaches the clouds and you could barely see the gargoyles appeared to be specs from where he was standing , he then came back to his senses and opened the large and heavy door and entered the temple. The temple Was very large the king always had too much on his mind and hands to visit it , he can only recall entering once , as he entered he observed the large mirror clean marble floor and the candles that where lit would hover in the air on their own , the only thing that the king could hear was the echoing of his footsteps and the delicate sound of the fairy choir. inside you would find a statue of every goddess and magical and spiritual creature in the earth. He knew that the princess was fond of the moon unicorn , it was what she would pray too so he and his guards went off to find the moon unicorn shrine and statue thought the large temple. The king climbed up the marble spiral steps and searched the next floor for the princess and there she was kneeling down in front of a large statue of the magical moon unicorn and she asked-25

‘Moon unicorn of wonder and splendour answer me tonight26

Can love fight against power , does it have enough might?27

My parents want him because he is strong28

He is the sun and I’m the moon , together it sounds right but we are wrong29

Help me understand what is right for me 30

I love Prince North and want to stay with him , make them see31

Marrying Prince Solarus may be right but I see no love in his eyes32

He doesn’t want me for the love but for the upcoming prize33

Immortality I will gain from the magic of above34

What will an eternal life of power be without the power of love’ 35

Then after she said this the moon unicorn a silver moon beam came down onto her and the statue like a glittery fog and her pendant on her neck with the diamond heart fell of her neck and landed unto her hands , it landed on the side where her and prince North’s names are engraved in gold , and that was the sign that the moon unicorn had sent her , to follow her heart and continue on with marrying Prince North and she realized that material power is not everything but true love is . she put her necklace back on and placed some gold coins for the moon unicorn near its statue and she got up from her kneeling and turned around to find her father standing behind her, he saw everything and decided to go along with whatever his daughters decision was. The King smiled at the princess and told her not to worry and convinced her that no body in the land is adapt to her as much as prince north is and that Prince Solarus is only has physical power and no true values in his heart. They then returned to the throne room together with the guards to announce to everybody that the answer is no. when they retured and said this it was a true outrage and the prince once again stood from his chair after waiting for the princess to return and said -’ it doesn’t end here princess for I can not loose face36

In the kingdom I have chosen you out of every race37

My name and pride I will restore and defend38

I will never give up , this is not the end.’39

The prince collected his gold sward and shield and put his cape into place and shook the queen and Kings hand and rode off on his horse. The princess also ran away to her room for she could not face any criticism from the public and her parents especially the Queen that were furious at her decision . The next Morning the princess returned to her usual routine and tried to forget about Prince Solaris and his proposition , she then went and told Prince North about what happened , prince north was a little worried for this powerful race should not be contradicted but at the same time he was proud at his princess for having the strength to say no and that she remained faithful to him.40

He kissed her on the cheek and hugged her tight and encouraged the princess to be strong and he told her that he would always be there for her. After her meeting with the prince she took her usual walk in the Forest , she walked through the foggy green grass and picked flowers from the colourful flowerbeds and breathed in the fresh peppermint air she felt relaxed until the trees leaves began to rustle and the ground vibrated, when she turned around there where 8 men all on horsed with golden capes dashing through the misty forest heading for her direction , she was unable to run or hide for they were too close to her , and there he was Prince Solarus and his other royal family members on a hunt to find her , the Prince put a sleep on Princess Luna and lifted her up onto his horse and road away to his castle , all the men on the horsed jeered and yelled in delight and shot magic bullets into the air after they found what they were looking for. 41

Everybody in the kingdom soon found out that princess Luna was Kidnapped by Prince Solarus , the king and queen knew that he would not give up because he could not loose his face and Prince North was the most upset that his future bride was taken away by Prince Solarus and there wasn’t much that he could do but wait in patience . Kidnapping meant being alone with the prince without permission and consent which automatically gives Prince Solarus a right to marry Princess Luna. Prince solarus then forcefully made Princess Luna become impure during that time that she was kidnapped by him, now he felt as though he had every right to become her husband, the princess was angry at his characteristics and actions and she felt that when she got to know his personality he was worse that what she expected.The prince then felt 100 % secure that he could marry the princess so he decided to pack and take the princess to her castle and marry there and show everybody that his power won over the princesses decision of saying no to marrying him. 42

When the Prince returned Princess Luna to her Family they did not recognize her , because the prince has dressed her from crown to foot in gold. They were very happy that the prince had returned her after just three days and the king and queen bowed at prince Solarus and kissed their daughter on the forehead and they approved of their marriage since they had been alone together ,weather princess Luna liked it or not right away the King and queen and all the maids and servants began to organize their wedding they did everything from inviting guests to cleaning the castle grounds until they twinkled and shined. They days passed quickly and the night before the wedding day reached ,and princess Luna found herself at midnight leaning outside her bedroom window looking at the knight sky as she asked the moon why , she was angry at the whole situation , she was angry at prince Solaris’s arrogance and bossy behaviour and she was angry that tomorrow she would not be married to her arraigned partner but to a partner that the has been forced to wed and she was angry at the moon unicorn for allowing prince solarus’s power to violate her hearts decisions, The Princess felt alone until she heard Prince Norths familiar voice call from the garden that was situated under her window he climbed up on the ivy and kissed her and they both held each others necklaces and became teary. Then she said to her – ‘You are the only young woman that I have loved ever.43

And to our marriage I will never say never44

I don’t care that you have been touched by another man45

Because I know that it’s not your fault and you were forced into his plan46

We can try and win this one last fight47

If you run away with me tonight.’48

The princess would have don’t this if there were no consequences . but she knew that Prince Solarus would react in a violent manner so she replied to the prince – 49

‘ I can not run away with you , there are consequences still’50

Prince solarus is very strong he will hunt you down and kill!51

I would run away with you my love , it is something that I like52

But I can not take this step right now because I fear for your life’53

They held each others hands and hug and promised one other eternal love before the prince climbed down and went home to North Castle, he would of stayed longer but there was a risk of him been seen.54

The princess entered her room and lay on her bed whilst she cried herself to sleep.55

The next morning came and all the maids and the princesses and the prince’s immediate family and extended family who were already dressed and prepared for this grand day filled her bedroom to begin the brides dressing ceremony , the baronesses and countesses from Prince solarus side prepared and laid out the extravagant wedding dress , the colour of it what not white because she had already lost her virginity , so the colour that it was made in was a soft light gold , the material chosen was a combination on tulle and natural silk and the corset on top was filled with crystals and the hem of the wedding dress had a great deal of lace and many pearls sewn on it. They then placed crystals in her silver hair along with her glittery veil and they placed the traditional Solarusus crown on her head. The princess stood up and felt the weight of her expensive dress laden with crystals and fine fabrics. Her sister in laws handed her the bouquet that she would carry for the day which was also large and expensive for it had a lot of baby’s breath that would flutter with her movements and coloured pearl in-between each rose.56

After all the preparations the King arrived and took the brides arm and the woman followed her as though it were a parade and they started to walk to the cathedral where Prince solarus and the other three thousand guests where waiting.57

The Princesses heart ached more and more very meter that she was walking, then she arrived at the cathedral steps and ascended them as the bells chimed the then entered and saw prince solarus near the doorway also dressed in a new gold tunic , her father handed her to him and they began to walk down the isle as bride and groom , the church was full of important beings from the entire kingdom ,of all races and all types and they oooohed and aaaaaedat their magnificence as they reached the alter. Everything was silent now as the priest began the marital sacrament ceremony and everybody seemed happy but the princess. She stood there in suspense , her heart felt like knifed were cutting through her vitality in her soul felt dead and the relaxed spirit that she once had was now torn as she listened to each word the bishop said. Then her body felt a weakness as her heart called out to her , she tried to ignore it but she couldn’t because the pain that she felt in her chest was excruciating, she then removed her hand out of the groom’s and put it on her chest then her eternal arranged marriage necklace fell into her hand again just like it did on the night that she prayed to the moon unicorn and her hearts pain continued. She then heard a voice in her head so she closed her yes and there was the moon unicorn telling her that Prince north was in trouble and to run away because love will find a way. Prince solarus told her that it was not a time to be feeling ill and told her that he couldn’t stand her weaknesses and he forcefully grabbed her hand off her chest as he looked at her in a intoxicated manner. Then the princess realised that she had had enough of putting up with his bossy and intoxicated nature , plus she had to go and save prince North from whatever danger he was in, so she handed him her bouquet and her crown and lifted up her heavy dress and ran for freedom out the door, the people in the crowd were outraged , and the queen fainted out of shame. Prince Solarus tore the bouquet and threw the crown on the floor and ran after her with his sword! for no body in the history of his family have been rejected and he could not allow him to be the first.58

The princess tore many layers of her dress off so it would become easier to run in as she left the castle gates and headed for the enchanted forest, she felt lost and did not know where prince North could be , so she feel on the misty ground and cried with the last ounce of strength that she had, then a healing fairy appeared , they were very rare and very small , the moon unicorn must of sent it to guide the princess , the fairy restored Luna’s strength and lead her to witches huts where prince north had gone. The witches huts were in the west side of the forest where the plats grew thicker and there was magic and smoke that came from the witches chimneys that was roaming in the air. The fairy lead her to door that she was to knock on, the princess knocked and the door opened and she saw two rather beautiful witches with long black hair and the prince standing in the middle of the room holding a small blue potion in his hands , everybody knew that blue potions were used for suicide , ‘don’t drink it!’ yelled princess Luna as she entered the prince dropped the potion and broke it , she was fortunate to had arrived just in time and she fell to floor in relief and the prince fell in front of her and hugged her tight as tears streamed down their faces, he couldn’t believe that she came after him and she couldn’t believe that she saved him just in time. The witches did not know what was going on and did not care who they were , for witches were rebels and did not bow to royals ,but they wanted the prince to hand them the money that he owes for the potion and mess that he made when he dropped it and get out of their home , for they had many potions to make and jobs to do for the day.59

The Princess and Prince were finally together again and they walked through the forest hand in hand together with the fairy still hovering behind them whilst the princess Luna told him about how she ran away from prince solarus . then the fairy whispered to them and said , watch your words for ever the trees have eyes and ears as soon as she said this prince solarus sneaked behind then and attacked them, he threw prince north into the misty ponds then began beating princess Luna for she had ashamed him she then passes a sward through her shoulder and threw her to the ground and left her for dead. He then ran off back to princes Luna’s castle collected all of his family and goods , told everybody in the kingdom that he killed Princess Luna to restore his name , power and his pride , and to keep in respect with princess Lunas family her parents had to give another of their daughters to prince Solarus he found her more suitable in personality for him and he would still gain immortality with her because she was the daughter of the stars, she did not have an arranged marriage to she was content to accept unlike princess Luna, he had made a mistake for not picking her beforehand but now he is content for his honour is restored . and they all road off in their carriages and horses back to the Solarusus powerful area and castle. in a months time prince Solarus and Princess Stella will wed. 60

Back in the forest Prince North crawled out of the muddy pond and reached his arms out to Princess Luna who laid in a pool of blood on the floor , the prince felt desperate as he tried to wake her and lifted her up and carried her in his arms and aimlessly searched for help. The Fairy that hid from Prince solarus came out of hiding and spoke to the prince and said to him to follow her to the fountain of fair fortune , so he did. They reached the fountain and it was just a small one at first with pictures of fairy’s engraved into it then the fairy hovered above it and it opened into a dark tunnel , they entered the dark tunnel that lead to a enourmous round shallow fountain with shimmering clear water and many many fairys flying around and singing the prince knelt down and sank princess Luna Into the magical waters hoping that she will be ok , then the water turned red the pink then clear again and the princess rose out of the waters with a healthy glow and a new shimmery fairy gown and her eyes opened as soon as the prince hugged her from relief then a voice emereged from the magic , it was the moon unicorn and all the magical creatures in the earth congratulating princess Luna’s effort for fighting against material power and following the power of love and they were happy with prince North’s attitude on love conquering all abd they gave them amny blessings an dpromiced them that they will forever be protected and no one will ever interfere with their love and marriage again. They said to them – 61

‘You two are lucky to have found this fountain62

I am making you love eternal as the sky and strong a the mountain 63

And restoring your health and granting you Vitality64

So we are giving you both immortality’ 65

A bright light covered their surroundings and they shut their eyes not to strain them . When they opened their eyes they found themselves in the temple of time in front of a statue of them both and in a inscription there was written – for her beauty was a blessing and a curse66

The power for power made her life go in reverse67

And the kindness of his soul fought 68

And they followed their hearts and fought69

They gain immortality because they risked to fall70

And fought against evil and made love conquer all71

And these two were blessed from above72

And this statue represents the power of love73

Soon the temple was full of people and the king and queen were so happy to see Princess Luna alive , everybody rejoiced and made plans for the true lovers to marry without any obstacles or problems , the new future king and queen of love. Princess Luna and Prince North and the whole kingdom of Magia live happily ever after.74
