Sam's Adventures Chapter 1 part 1

Sam Alcott, in his pajamas, sat and watched movies. His favorite show was Goosebumps, but he also liked Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Transformers.1

After a while, he turned off his TV and walked to bed. He climbed up the ladder (evidently it was a bunk bed) and went to sleep.2

In the middle of the night, he saw a bright light out his window. Something crashed, then everything in the neighborhood shook...

    I love the last line, "then everything in the neighborhood shook..."
