Chapter 71

For about 45 minutes they continued to walk, both2

telling each other a little about both of themselves. Finally the time came when they go to school. Krystal looked around the school was so different from her normal one from her old life. The school was small but not that small, it was long, and was only one level. It was a red color for paint and half was made of wood and the other half stone, she could tell that they had recently added on the stone part. Then she heard Leo say something, she didn’t quite hear it but when she looked over at him he was walking towards the school doors. She ran after him getting behind him, “What did you say?” 3

He turned around and looked at her “I said nothing, I thought oh great school.” He smiled, turning back around and going to the doors holding them open for her to go in. She thought to her self as she followed him then walked in, ‘oh great yet again I screw my powers up letting them take control.’ She sighed softly to her self-feeling embarrassed now, but it didn’t seem like Leo had cared that she went into his mind. Maybe he wanted her in there, she didn’t know she had never been a friend with a cat-person before.4

She walked down the halls not even thinking on where she was going. She turned around when she felt a hand on her back, not seeing who it was she sent her energy in a wave like form at the person. When she looked up and saw that Leo was on the ground starring up at her. “Leo what are you doing on the ground?” She held out her hand and helped him up.5

“It’s not my fault you send some type of thing at me that knocked me down.” He shook his hand some, and then brushed the dust from the floor off him. He looked back at her and smiled lightly.6

“Oh, I’m sorry I was just in thought and you surprised me I guess. I’ve never done that I guess my powers just aren’t staying under my control right now.” She looked at him, being embarrassed now that she had read his mind and now just pushed him down with energy. Well this day was already going great for her. When she looked back at him he was staring at her she looked around seeing if it was really her he was staring at then back at him. “Do I look bad or something, or something on my face.” He shook his had slowly then turned around. 7

“Class is this way you were walking the wrong way. “ He looked back at her then took her hand looking back where they were going. For a few minutes they walked through the halls and Leo explained where every place was. Finally they got to there class room, as they walked in Krystal thought to herself, ‘Well so far it looks normal enough.’ But was she far from right with that.8
