When the Sun and the Moon Fell in Love (Pt 1)

Fynn, Jasper, Brody and Logan sat around at the table at The Pig Tavern in Independence, MO drinking and waiting around for the show to start.
"Does anybody know what Colin was babbling about when he said that he had a surprise spectacular show for us to see?" Fynn asked, taking a swig of his gin on the rocks.
"Only something about the fact that it was to be a spectacular surprise. You know Colin though, a new sequined vest could be the entire highlight of his evening," Jasper pointed out.
"Here here" the boys chanted in unison as they raised there glasses.
"Speak of the Devil himself," Fynn said as he spotted Colin quickly making his way to the table.
"Hey guys! Glad you could come out tonight," he said.
The guys noticed Colin was beaming brighter than usual. It could have been from the flashy vest and shirt he was wearing, but they all assumed it had something to do with tonight's performance with his band, Camisado.
"So, this spectacular surprise you promised us, looks like you've packed the house to capacity. We're trying to figure out what you've done with this place," Logan said.
"What do you mean?" Colin asked, sweeping his oh so neat yet messy emo cut to the side. That night he happened to be sporting fire engine red streaks in the front where his hair hung over his left eye.
"The stage, it's kind of off center and well, we're not sure what you're doing because the stage is so small any way," Logan said.
Colin grinned. He knew the guys were going to get a kick out of what he had in store.
"Be patient, the show goes on in ten minutes. You guys are going to have a great time with it," Colin explained.
Despite the fact that real bands generally didn't play exactly on time, Camisado often did due to Colin's dramatic and flamboyant demanor. And from each of the guys' perspectives, Colin was as flamboyant as they came. None of this bothered the guys like it would some. Colin was just as much a part of the group now as he'd ever been.
"Good luck!" Jasper said.
The guys once again raised their glasses and just as they were about to clink their glasses together to toast to Colin's best wishes for a great performance, each of them stuck out their pinkies. Colin laughed stuck his pinkie out just the same as if he'd been holding a glass too.
"If only you guys knew how gay you all looked just then," Colin joked, pointing at all of them.
"Oh look who's talking, sequin stud," Fynn cracked back.
Colin batted his lashes and twirled around before he disappeared outside.
As promised, the show went on after ten minutes. After a sort of winded introduction by Colin, the band began to play as Colin began to sing. Suddenly, from the entry way door, five girls dressed in a sort of Chicago nusical-esque vests, boy cut shorts, chunky black heels and fedoras came dancing in. They weaved about in the audience, around the tables, teasing the guys with their come hither stares and beckoning smiles.
Fynn, Jasper, Logan and Brody each looked at each other in utter amazement. This was something they hadn't quite expected from Colin. But it did up his flair for the dramatic entertainment. There was one girl in particular that sauntered to their table and turned her back to them. She put her hands on the table and lowered herself to the ground, a kind of burlesque dance move. She lifted her self and turned around to face them all. Her smile was dazzling. Fynn right away noticed her pretty grey blue green eyes. His heart fluttered. She was absolutely gorgeous. She leaned in and blew a kiss to the boys as she turned and trotted towards the stage. Right away, they all knew she was the lead dancer in the troupe. And Colin was the ringleader of this whole caberet. He was absolutely beaming at her.1

The whole show was amazing. Though the girls didn't dance to every song, the choreography was just enough to put the show over the top. In fact, after the encore song, the entire house was standing up, clapping and cheering for the band and the stupendous performance. The boys all looked at each other in total agreement. Of all the performances Colin's band had done, this one certainly took the cake.
Colin approached the table and the gentlemen lifted their glasses (and their pinkies) once again.
"Colin, man, you have definitely out done yourself. Tell me, how much work did you put into this?" Fynn asked.
"Don't ask. I'm just thrilled you all could make it to see what we'd been working on," he said.
Logan started laughing and pointed to Colin's outfit.
"Man, I wouldn't have missed this for the world. You looked so pretty," Logan teased.
"Oh stop it," Colin joked back, swinging his hand effeminately.
Suddenly, the lead dancer raced up behind Colin and tackled him in a big bear hug from behind. She was giggling like a giddy school girl as Colin hugged back as tight as he could.
"Hey there, doll face!" he crooned to her, grasping her hand and pulling her from behind him.
"Col, that was an invigorating rush!" she cried out.
"Guys, I want you to meet my burlesque queen, Fiona. Fi, this is Fynn, Jasper, Logan and Brody," Colin said, pointing to each of the men he'd named off. "These guys have been the best friends an effeminate man could ask for."
"Nice to meet you all! I hope you guys will be coming to more shows. It would be nice to have some familiar faces for when I do scope the audience!" Fiona exclaimed.
The guys nodded and agreed. Then Fiona did something the boys did not see coming, which became a show in and of itself. She planted a kiss on Colin's lips. The guys all watched in shock as Colin kissed this woman back with the same intensity. She broke the kiss and readjusted the small pack slung sideways behind her. The boys noticed her fidgetting with the button on Colin's suit coat which she was wearing.
"Colin, I'm going back to the apartment, perhaps to chill out and get some rest since I'd been too excited to sleep for the past few nights. I'll see you there?" she asked.
"Yes, you will. And guys, you all are welcome. I'm sure my little starlet won't be sleeping for a little while," he said.
Fiona nodded. "Of course, you guys are welcome! I'm just ready to get into something more comfy. I'd love to hang out with you all."
The guys all nodded and agreed.
"Ok, then it's agreed. Fi, we'll catch up to you here in just a little bit."
She nodded. "Ok, Bye!"
Fiona took off out the door while Fynn, Jasper, Logan and Brody gawked at Colin.
"What?" Colin asked.
"Colin, man, I thought you were...I mean, dude, does she know that you're...I don't think I'm comprehending what I just saw take place between you and Fiona," Fynn stuttered.
"What?" Colin asked.
"I think what Fynn means to say is that Fiona kissed you and you didn't even wipe your mouth in disgust. What's going on?" Brody asked.
"Oh, that? Guys...I'm still gay. Fiona knows that. Fiona's my...well, she's my female acomplice so to speak. She's my friend and roomate. She's completely ok with the fact that I'm gay. Comfortable I believe is the word she used," Colin explained.
"The kiss?" Jasper asked, still obviously confused.
"It's a thing. It doesn't mean anything, guys. Relax, you all can still fight over her without worry about me as competetion," he said, laughing. "I'm sorry if it weirded you all out."
