3. Sometimes a bubble wrap bubble which promises by appearance to make a loud pop simply deflates when put to the test. 3
4. Marigolds are actually quite fluffy.4
5. Cement porchsteps stay warm long after the sun had stopped shining.5
6. It's always the little dogs that do the most barking.6

9. Telling people how great you think they are actually makes you feel quite happy. It does NOT make you feel nauseous. 9

Author notes
This is definitely not a work of art. At all. But more of me noticing random stuff. And if you've read it, I hope you've enjoyed, and got a laugh out of one or two. I highly recommend you go out and notice some more things now, and make your own list. After you comment.
Thanks,
Amanda

honey, that's superman.
wonderful list that pretty much made my day a bit brighter. -
this is absolutely wonderful!!!! i loved every points that you had noted... couldn't help falling in love with the point number 10, 13 and 14... however the point 12 baffled me... could you be so kind as to explain what it is supposed to mean?

These are wonderful. I am glad you spend your time noticing how wonderful the little things are.
It causes fewer health problems and creates less stress! -
This is cute and is just an example of things that go on under our nose. You added a bit of hilarity, but it rocked...cuz I have a tree(red maple) with purple leaves...so I understand the truth brought forth in this piece! Keep up the good observations!

ok.
Cement porchsteps stay warm long after the sun had stopped shining.
"had," should be "has."
Good luck in the contest.

Queeeeeuuuuuuwwwwte. (cute)
Ah, my neighbor has that kind of tree with the purple-ish leaves. It also has pink/red-ish flowers blossoming on it.
This was cute. Not a "masterpiece," like you mentioned, but very cute and true (when I say true, I meant number 15).
Good luck in the contest.

Some wonderful things to ponder here - things that are not really obvious before, but are after we've read them are cool.

Yes, purple leaves. Like, not bright Barney purple, but purple-ish. With green bottoms. It's quite cool. Thanks for the comment,

Kash: Yes, it was a ton of fun to write and read over, which is why I thought to post it here, just in case someone liked it. And yes, bubble wrap. I love bubble wrap. Things like that make the world go round
Thanks for leaving a note,
Amanda -
Cerene: I'm not sure what the tree wtih the purple leaves is, but it's not fruit bearing or anything. It looks like any other leafy tree, just...purple-y. It actually didn't take me too long, I just started writing things down. Thanks for the comment!

lol, this is so great! It's always strange to notice these type things; some of them don't really matter at all (bubble wrap?) but are so true it's just crazy that we don't think about them more. Keep up the observation!
