if only he knew

Time changes, people and situations move on but some things stay forever in the back of the mind and heart, lingering, waiting for the right time to be exposed. Some come quiet, slow and full of thought, well others come in like thunder with a bang. Feelings of love, when it’s the deepest pure and true, the feelings that never seem to go away. The feelings of love bury them self-deep. A constant reminder of forgotten dreams, come rushing back. Bringing in tears as fresh as the day the heart was broken.  Her mind says to her, in spite of everything she knows. "There's still time, chase your dreams live for yourself." A picture slowly creeps into her head. A picture of him abandoning the demands of others, the thoughts and feelings come as she pictures him running into her arms. This just makes things harder; the tears flow like a raging river. She knows it will never happen and that it is all in her head. Time moves on, but love never does. It is impossible for the heart to move on when it’s stuck in the past. If only he knows what will happen to her heart over time.... 1
