Background: Rafe grew up in an affectionate and devoted home. The Norton's were an upper middle class family-oriented lot who participated in all of the community activities. They were the picture perfect family until on Rafe's tenth birthday he and his sister were in a car accident together that took his sister's life. Lux's death was devastating to the whole family and community. After his sister's death, his chipper personality developed more because he felt it was his job to get everyone through that time of tragedy. Rafe worked at his dad's bar and paid rent but had no desire to leave his home. He was very attached to his home life, and would often stumble in after work kissing his mother on the cheek.4

Depending on who he is around Rafe is very respectful and charming. However he can be horrendously vulgar at times with his sexual innuendos. But he is overall a genuinely good person and a hard worker. He comes into the picture through Acacia. Her grandmother lived in the apartment above Rafe’s family. She would bring cookies down to him and acted somewhat of a grandmother to Rafe. When Acacia moved into her grandmother’s apartment, Rafe became her first real friend there and was sort of her guide to finishing school. Acacia pretends to always be aggravated and annoyed by him but she really does care for him and thinks of him as a brother. He was there for her when her grandmother died.5

Personality: Rafe is a huge comic relief. He is hardly ever serious and usually gets along with everyone. He sometimes annoys Acacia and Boomer on purpose because of their uptight personalities. Rafe is extremely loyal and hates unfamiliarity. He doesn’t like to stray too far from what he knows. Even so, Rafe is considered to be a bit of a 'whore.' He has random relationships with girls and never seems to be up on the idea of settling down. He is open to new people but would rather stick to the friends he has now. Rafe is blood type O.6

Physical Appearance/Style: Rafe has an average build. He doesn't work out and he loves to eat so he is kind of curvy, though not fat. He is 5'10. He has wavy brown and light brown eyes. Growing up, he looked up to his father for everything. His style reflects Rayland's quite a bit. He usually wears layers, an undershirt and a stripped or plain over shirt with a pocket. He also wears brown kackies and dress shoes.
