Leavers Assembly.

I glanced at Mr.York, who nodded. I stood up, Lorraine also stood up and moved her feet over the bench. When she tripped and her shoe fell off. The whole hall echoed with laughter as the parents and the children laughed. I just burst out laughing, Lorraine grabbed her shoe and quickly, and clumsly put it on. Lorraine began her first line.1

"Diva, do you want to hear a joke?" 2

"No." I said, a faint laughter in my voice. 3

"Do you want to hear a joke?" Lorraine asked the audience, who were still laughing. 4

"Yes." They all replied at different tones. 5

And so the jokes continued. When it was time to end, we finished it as we had planned.6

"Alright, I've got a super Awesome one. So, Lorraine. How do you tell an Idiot you walking away?" I sighed.7

"I dunno."8

"You walk away." I made my way back to the bench. 9

"I dont get it, who's the Idiot?" Lorraine acted dumb.10

"You are." I finished, Lorraine sat back down. 11

The crowd began to laugh again.12

Acts passed, me and Lorraine were murmuring about the incident. Giggling now and then at how funny it was. Until it was my turn to act the fool. 13

"Now, I'm going to play 'Old Mc Donald has a farm.'" I stood up, then sat down and began to set up the keyboard.14

"You can sing along, if you want. Too." I heard Lorraine shout, she was becoming more comfortable with being in the spot light. 15

I began to play. It wasnt until I reached the end of the song when I started to sing along. All of a sudden, my mind went blank. Everyone was still singing. I pressed the wrong key, and couldnt go back on track. So I just stopped playing it altogether, again everyone was laughing at the confused look on my face. I also laughed, a nervous laugh. 16

At the end, I was presented with certificates. One for coming 3rd in the talent show for playing the Piano, The Can Can. 17

Another for surviving E.P Collier Primary School, just barely. 18

And the third for all of the dance lessons I took part in at my school. We were forced to dance, I didnt choose to dance. Trust me. 19

I left the school lonely again, Lorraine and me promised to keep in touch. But Somehow I dont think we will. She was my only true friend, and now she's gone.20
