one of 'those' people

It's funny how you seem to know someone but you don't. How people can deceive those that care about them from the smallest detail to the person as a whole. Why do people say things that will end up hurting someone else? Is it for pity? So you feel for them and give them attention?1

Is this really a good influence? It can be anything really from friend, to lover. Sometimes you have to learn the hard way to know that these people actually exist. Even if it wasn't you that was the target of affect you still learn that 'those' people exist. This is the story of how one of 'those' people hurt someone else.2

Chasity walked through the hallways of her Senior highs school. It was Junior year for her and the beginning of a year always said one thing for her 'new friends'. Not even two months into school and she already has four fresh meats as friends. One of them was her best friend. The fresh meats' name was Allie. The word inseparable is a good description for them. Once classes are done they're always together.4

Things were great for them and they were very close but then some things happen that don't make sense.5

Month One:6

Chasity was in the field all alone. She knew that her friends were at the library so she decided to be here. Tears were falling out of her eyes, she thought that she was alone but then one of her quiet friends Mimi found her.7

"There you are." Mimi said as she plopped down next to her. Mimi was the 'advice giver' and the 'shoulder' because she always seemed to know what to say to make things better. Mimi just saw Chasity tremble and she hugged her, purposely to be the 'shoulder'. Once that happened Chasity allowed the tears to fall freely. "Hey there Nekozawa what's wrong?"8

"Allie..." Chasity started to say.9

"Dumped you over for Pedro? You know the one that looks like a Pedro but his name is Shaun." Mimi asked and Chasity giggled, just like Mimi to make people laugh out of random sayings.10

"No...please promise me you won't say anything." Chasity said and Mimi did the whole 'lock your lips and throw away the key' thing. "Allie has lukemia."11

"Not the end of the world, Nekozawa." Mimi said and Chasity looked at her in the 'I know that' look. "Well it isn't all Allie needs to do is go to her therapy sessions or have an operation. She'll be fine." Mimi said and Chasity nodded. It wasn't the end of the world and things won't go down to the worst.12

Or so she though. Allie was perfectly fine like if she didn't have that blood cancer. In fact things were ok until Chasity got a weird phone call.13

"Hello?" Chasity asked it was very early in the morning.14

"Chasity it's me, Allie." Chasity heard the distress in Allie's voice and she knew that something was wrong with her friend.15

"What is it?" Chasity asked immediately concerned.16

"Can you do me a big favor?"17

"Anything what's wrong Allie?"18

"Can you get me a pregnancy test. I think I'm knocked up." Allie said and Chasity's gut said 'don't do it' but she answered a 'I'll see what I can do' and she went with her mom that weekend morning to the nearest CVS. 19

While her mom was doing something in another aisle Chasity went and bought her friend a pregnancy test. Something that most girls won't do. The reason why? The parents may find out, which her mom did.20

"Tell me that it's not for you." Chasity's mom said and Chasity just gave up on her mother.21

"No mom it's not me I'm still a virgin." Chasity said but she ended up returning it because her mom kept on saying that she was the one who was knocked up.22

Things started to get weirder and weirder between Chasity and Allie. The icing on the cake was when the guy who liked Allie said that he liked Chasity. That's when the true nature of Allie was known.23

"You b*tch-y slut!" Allie screamed at Chasity when Chasity and Mimi were talking about a story that Chasity needed help on.25

"What's wrong Allie?" Chasity asked. Mimi got into a defensive mode and ready to fight back the insulter.26

"You stole Charlie from me!" Allie screamed her black hair touched her face.27

"No I didn't I don't like him." Chasity said as if to calm and tame the beast.28

"What ever. I don't want to be your friend anymore." Allie said and Chasity felt really hurt.29

"Why?"30

"Why? Your annoying, and too pretty. I said all of those things and asked all of those favors to bring your reputation down so I may be on top. But I'm sick and tired of your stupidity! Grow up will you. I never liked you, not for a second. I wish that you would just die!" Allie screamed and walked away leaving a crying Chasity.31

Chasity and Allie don't talk anymore. Yet Allie is always trying to bring her ex-bff down and make her seem like an idiot. Allie would stoop to flirt with the guy that Chasity has had a crush on for three years. One day Mimi and Chasity were walking past the Junior sign in poster and saw that under her name (which she signed) were written the words. 'Thank god that this Mother F*cker is leaving. L8tr b*tch'.32

Why did Allie do all of the things she did? We don't really know. Yet these people do exist and be careful when choosing a friend. It can make then break your heart.
