“Hmmm…mm,” the robot said. Her purple eyes blinked once or twice before she registered his words.2
“Knew what, professor?”3
“What a fool I am?”4
“Oh. That’s just too bad professor.”5
“Dana, people think of me as a genius, as a visionary, as someone who deserves to be included in history textbooks!”6
“Yes, professor, I know what people think of you.”7
“But do they know who stole their little girl when she was sleeping in bed? Who killed their Tommys and Harrys so mercilessly that they would never look at dead bodies the same way again?”8
“No professor. Is it you?”9
“No!” he said, his eyes lighting up, “It’s you! You’re the one! Dana the killing machine! You leave no DNA fingerprints, no strands of hair, nothing! Do you know why! Because you’re a robot!”10
“Yes professor, I am.”11
“So who’s the chosen victim in your killing list today Dana?”12
“Mmm…” Dana scrolled through the list that had been inputed into her brain. “Professor Archibald Z. Fitzwagner.”13
“Who’s that?”14
“You.”15

I like the subtle and unexpected ending. i thought it was like that whole man vs machine thing . The guy created this, bathed in the pride he had for it, and gets killed by it.
its so simple yet it still tells a good story.

Ha! That's what he gets!!! At the end, it is a little hard to tell who is talking, the robot of professor, but other than that, it was great!!!
