Welcome one and all, this is the week of May 18th and these are the best short stories published int here last seven days that I have found! Congratulations to the winners:1
10. In the Vein of Gravity
-Platinum Stiches2
Really nice faaaaab piece, made me want to role over and die, but in a good way. Very sad which I don't usually go for but this really rocked.3
9. Retarded Winter
-Secret Part4
This has placed for the wonderful reason of excellent word choice. The difference between the right word and the allmost right word is the difference between lightning and a lightning bug! What was so very impressing is that this piece was written by someone who doesn't speak english as a first language, astounding!5
8. The Gift
-Seshat Kitty6
Ok, awesome piece over all to start. Very well rounded piece, starts you off wondering the genre of the little story and slaps you in the face and steals your wallet. Loved it, loved it, loved it!7
7. The different species of Vampires
-Onaya38
Let me say for one that i HATE TWILIGHT WITH A DEEP BURNING PASSION and am thus not being biased in my view of this piece. It was extremely long but while not suspensful (It was more an article, anyways) had very intersting information on a (in my opinion) not very interesting subject. It also had an air of humor which too made it fun.9
6. Enjoy your stay
-Valkyrie10
Although laking in backround onfo, valkyrie sets up a gloriously wicked scene in a gloriously awesome setting, a hotel made of ice. Valkyries imagery is truly, pardon my pun, To die for.11
5. The Beauty and her Beast- A fractured fairy tale
-Have faith in emerson12
I'm a sucker for fairy tales, especially classics with twists. This was honestly one of the best I have ever read. The pictures painted in this piece are vibrant and the language is superb.13
4. Power of Love
-Yo Yo14
Ok, super piece for one great reason: Yo Yo brought the characters to Life! they flew out of the computer screen. They were vivid and alive and you started to feel for them and care for them. Why can't we all write like this!15
3.The Gnomic explanation about the ergs
-daftweejimmy16
Ha! The most creative thing sine the cheese steak! I really loved this thing, really lightened my name and still had meaning and depth. AWESOME!17
2. Richard Feare
-Gary Alexander18
A true masterpiece in the art of implication. Leaves your heart tattered and heals your wounds at the same time. Bravo Bravo Bravo.19
And now, for he one, the only, number one!
1. La Cosa Bello!
-Kevan20
This was AWESOME! It was a quick peak inside the mind of the gay and bi. It was so incredibly well laided out that I truly enjoyed this with all my heart. Never underestimate the power of a picture with flow!21
Remember, these are my opinions, but congrats to the winners! Next week I'll have more! If you have a suggestioin for next week leave me the link of the story in a comment! Thanks, I hope you enjoyed it!

Thank You Sooooooo Much!
This was so nice of you! I can't believe that I'm actually in there! *blushes* You made more than my day--about my month!
And I was starting to feel guilty because I haven't posted my update. If you were somewhere close to me I'd repay you in cookies and brownies. Even if that is technically cheating. xD
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story; I really wasn't sure if it was something worth continuing. I can't express how grateful I am right now. Yes, my French background is a real pain, but I'm glad that I've managed somehow to ban it from my writing. At least for this part. xD.
This is definitely part of the best surprises anyone has made to me.
Again, thank you a thousand times.

Wow!
Thanks! What an awesome surprise. I did a funny little dance when I saw it.
Thanks for reading and the place!

Oh Jeeze...
*blushes* I feel special now.
I'm so glad you liked my story as much as you did because, to tell you the truth, it was a quick last minuet dash to make beofe the deadline for the project... and yeah, REALLY last minuet, lol.
But, again, you have no clue how happy it makes me to see someone other than my friends and family compliment my work in such away.

Hi Alexis!
Thanks for reading 'The Different Species Of Vampires' as I truly hope it entertained. I made up the different names and physical traits from preconceived ideas which I warped for my own evil purposes. These species come up in a series of books I'm writing and posted on my Storywrite page.
I used to be a huge Vampire fan but now my allegiance has swopped to Werewolves which I wrote a similar mock scientific report on. I enjoyed reading the Stephanie Meyer books, but I'm a bit of a nerd so I wanted to create Vamps who were more scientifically plausible.
To quote Scary Movie 3:
"How do you wake up dead, fool?"
--"Because you're alive when you go sleep."
"You telling me you can go to bed dead and wake up alive?"
--"You can't go to bed dead man, that s**t would be redundant."
