Powerless

There's nothing I can do to stop it1

Frustrating2

Day after day3

This unknown force taking over me4

I can no longer do this.5

A tree I was, the force forever turned me into an acute flower.6

I'm now broken7

Weak8

Mute9

Powerless10

There's nothing I can do to stop it11

While people desert me, and talk forever more12

Here I am, still broken13

Weak14

Mute15

No matter how hard I dream16

It seems I'll never be that tree again17

Forever trapped in a petite flower18

Miles away from storyland19

Each day I give up hope20

People forgetting about me21

I want to go back to the place called storyland22

Where I'll grow back to a powerful tree, giving strength to people that are just like I.23

Until that time comes...24

I'll still feel broken25

Author notes

This poem I just wrote about this Writer's Block I've had for over a year now. And while my friends on here continue to write stories, I'm still trying to come up with a story to write.

I'll be lucky if I make it past the first chapter of a story anymore.

Like I said at the end of this poem:

"Help Me"

Give me advice, some motivation, do something, so I can escape this hellish Writer's Block once, and for all

P.S., wow, time sure flies, doesn't it? I'm 15 and a half, and it seemed like yesterday I was the little 13 year old that got on everyone's nerves. =]

    Well, your writer's block sure is a problem, but the poem is great! I don't know what I could suggest to you.

    Write about your life? Take things that really happen and express them in fiction.

    I'm sure you'll find a muse soon

    I know how you feel about writing,
    I'm sufferin' from it too.
    (No I do not count my peices for school true stories,
    'cause they're not what I TRUELY want to write.)

    Hmm,
    advice? How about writing a story about writer's block? I've done that and it turned out pretty good.

    Lol I remember when you joined haha those were the days. You need to fix the spacing but otherwise it's powerful. The flow is off in a couple places but honestly, I like the message. Writer's block sucks. If you push hard you'll be stuck. Let it go naturally.
