Everything Changed Chapter 4

When i awoke in the morning i was really excited to see everyone again.I pulled my curtains open and sighed as i saw the sheeting rain pouring down from the heavy depressing clouds.I watched it fall for a while until my vision cleared from sleep.When it had I got changed into a pair of black skinny jeans with a band tee.I smiled and pulled out a pair of black and white converse shoes.1

When I was changed I made my bed and fluffed my pillows,then I ran out the huge room and down the staircase.Everyone was up and eating breakfast in the diningroom.I smiled and blushed as I sat down.Matt sat next to my seat so I kept my eyes on the food in front of me as i ate.Amy giggled and tapped my arm2

''Are you ok Ivy?''She giggled3

''Yeah..i'm fine thanks Amy''I sighed.Paul chuckled and whispered something in Amy's ear.I smiled and looked up at my Mum and Dad.My Mum cleared her throat and spoke4

''So Ivy dear,how do you feel about starting work today?''She smiled5

''That would be great''I laughed.Amy giggled again and looked out the windows6

''We need to do work,cause we can't go out cause it is raining''She smiled up at me,I patted her head and smiled brightly down at her.Matt shifted and sighed, I looked up at him in suprise to see his beautiful deep eyes staring at me.I blushed and looked away.My Dad cleared the table and my Mum walked away to get books.Amy and Paul got talking, leaving me sitting next to Matt7

He coughed and his eyes furrowed.I noticed the black bags still under his eyes..they didn't make him any less beautiful but it still made me worry..I looked down at his hands and gasped quietly as I saw that his knuckles were bruised slightly.The purple and black bruise flowered on his Pale creamy skin,I looked away as Mum came back in with books.She set one down in front of us all and then handed us paper and pencils8

''Alright Kids..I want you to read these books and write a book report on them..Don't worry if you don't get them finished''My Mum spoke kindly.She left the room and closed the doors behind her.I sighed and picked up the book.I looked at the title and smiled as i flicked it open.Matt picked his up and started to read.He went still and his breathing calmed...He must love books like me.When I had read it I picked up my pencil and smiled as Matt did the same.9

His hand hit mine and he gasped..I gasped too as i felt the same spark i had felt with the blacket.I flushed and looked at the paper and started to write.My hand hit his several times until it accidently touched his knuckles.He hissed and his hand trembled.I looked to see Paul and Amy with their heads down.I gently picked up his hand and tenderly placed my hand on his.He gasped in suprise but he didn't pull away.10

When his hand stopped shaking I let it go gently and let him return to his work..I felt so weird as I touched him, i couln't explain it.When I was done we all just sat and watched a movie and played games.Matt stayed silent but everytime i looked up i met his eyes and I blushed.When 10pm came we all went to bed but Matt trailed behind.When everyone was sleeping I went into the hall and gasped as I saw Matt standing at the balcony with a ciggarette in his pale hand.I walked to him and stood beside him.11

He sighed and looked down at me12

''Shouldn't you be in bed?''He asked13

''Shouldn't you?''I retorted.He smiled and laughed quietly, it sounded almost sarcastic14

''I don't sleep''He whispered.I nodded and waited for him to continue.15

''Nightmares''He hissed.I shivered and looked down, out into the house gardens16

''So..Ivy tell me about you''He laughed17

''Nothing much to tell,my parents died in a car crash..I wasn't there.I got put in loads of different homes and then I got adopted''I smiled as i finished18

''My parents were murdered by a Madman...He came into the house when I was at school and killed my parents..I came home from school and there they were.''He sighed19

''I'm sorry''I whispered,Matt scoffed and looked away.He flicked the ciggarette away and looked down at me20

''Well i am going to my room,I'll see you tommorow Ivy''He spoke.I sighed in sadness and nodded.He chuckled and walked away to his room21

''Nice name by the way''He laughed.I blushed and walked to my room.I got changed for bed and fell on the soft mattress...Ugh..This boy was going to be the death of me, My head hit the pillow and my eyes fluttered closed.I couldn't wait to see him again.............
