One hot,humid summer day, I was at the mall with my friends:Tahlia,Lorissa,Serena,Alyson,Briar and Dawn."Look there's Amber and she look's horrible." Dawn stated. "Don't be mean, Dawn." I said laughing. I forgot to mention my name's Clara Edison and the most life changing event happened on a Saturday afternoon at precisely 4:45 p.m. "Wait,who is with her? I've never seen them before." Lorissa said confused.Tahlia suggested that we go over there and ask who she was with."Hey Amber, we were just wondering who those people you were with?" I questioned. "They are my mothers aunt's: Loryn and Patricia." She said with an nervous look on her face. "Is that true?" I asked. "Yeah, we want the truth." Serena said with a demanding voice. "Fine, come to my house tomorrow at 4:45 and I'll show you something that will explain who those people were,I promise,ok?" She instructed. I was so excited to see what it was. After we all went home I went straight to my room not answering my dads questions. When I got upstairs I went straght on my computer. No one I wanted to talk to online so I decided to send an email to my mom.2

I clicked the send button and it was off. See, my mom is an investment banker and owns her own buisness. My mom has little time. She's always on buisness trips. Tyler-my little brother-is 9 so itts kinda hard on him. But I can deal. I went down the stairs at my dad calling my name. "Yeah dad?" I asked. "Dinner's ready." He said sitting down. I sat down beside Tyler. "What'd you do at school, today?" I asked him. "Well, I made the soccer team and the field hockey team." He said. "I'm so proud of you." I cheered. "What'd you do at the mall?" He asked. I shrugged. " I just bought you and Dad something." I said low key. "What is it? What is it?" Tyler asked jumping up and down in his seat. I got up to fetch my bag and pulled out a shoe box and handed them to Tyler. "Soccer cleats?" He asked I nodded and smiled. "I knew you wanted the matching blue ones to mine." I said. I pulled out a little jewellery box and handed it to my father. "Happy Father's Day." I said. He opened the box to expose a Silver, diamond encrusted Rolex. He was awesturck. "Clare bear, you shouldn't have. This is $150 and Tyler's shoes are $114. That's $264. How can you afford this?" He asked. "I just pulled some extra shifts at the restaurant and the tips were great." I explained. He kissed my head and smiled a thank-you. After dinner I went to have a shower. The next day came and went. I met up with all the girls after we've finished eating breakfast. " Hey guys ya'll ready to go?" I asked. As we started walking toward Amber's house we all seen a dark flashing light, so we ran to Amber's house. "Hey Mr.Wilson is Amber home?"I said with a sweet and soft voice. " yeah, she's in her room it's the fourth door on the right."He said smiling. "Thanks Mr.Wilson." I said going up the stairs. As we opened the door we heard the song Let the Flames Begin mp3 by Paramore. As we walked in and greeted her I'd noticed she had an Evanescence cd." Cool. You listen to Paramore and Evanescence." I comented. " Ya, they are my favourite bands." She said in a proud voice. Then she went in her closet and pulled at a big black book with a purple outline and it said " Disater in Disguise".
