Prologue 1
Darkness crept over the clearing. Two things were sitting there, their glossy pelts glimmering in the moonlight. One was definitely a cat... and the other a wolf? The two animals just sat there gazing at each other. Then the cat... turned into human? The wolf followed in unison. One child was a boy with gray hair, the color of his wolf pelt, and the cat-girl had tawny black hair... just like her pelt.2
The cat-girl blinked at the wolf-boy. She drew in a deep breath and reached in the pocket of her black coat. Her tiny fingers desperately tried to find what they needed... and she pulled out a jewel the size of her eye. She handed it to the wolf-boy. The wolf-boy nodded.3
The cat-girl then grew small ears out of her head and whiskers. Her skin turned to tawny black fur, and she grew four legs. The cat-girl was a cat again. The wolf-boy followed unison, except turned into a wolf. The cat-girl padded forward and touched muzzles with the wolf-boy.4
The cat pulled back and glanced at the full moon. Her pelt bristled with unease as the wolf raised his head and let out a long howl. The cat shifted uncomfortably on her feet. Should I have given him the jewel? 5
The wolf's howling grew louder and cat shrieked and jumped on the wolf, tearing at his fur. The wolf snarled and tried to bite the cat's tail. As he felt warm blood sink on his tongue and pinned the small cat to the ground. But the cat unsheathed her claws and slashed out, successfully raking the wolf's side. Blood welled from the wound at a fast pace, and the wolf yowled in defeat. The cat took a moment to gloat and tried to search the ground for the dropped jewel. She found it glittering in the moonlight, and the cat returned to her human form. 6
The cat-girl picked up the jewel and spoke in hard human language.7
"You betrayed me!"8
The wolf snarled in a final warning, and fell limp to the ground, meeting his horrible destiny at last.

I agree with the ? mark thing. The only time you should use a ? mark like that is if you have a character in a first person point of view. Your character can be the one confused but with narrating, you shouldn't be confused. It throws the rthyme off. And maybe you can give cat-girl and wolf-boy a name so you don't have to repeat cat-girl and wolf-boy.
Other than that I think you did good. It had enough mystery in it to make the reader want to learn more. A lot of prologues are confusing at first but they make sense later which I'm sure the whole jewel thing will make sense later. Thank you or entering this in. Putting you as a finalist.

In the first paragraph, there seems to be a little too much confusion in the narrator. Maybe you should use a little less of "..." and a few less question marks. Sorry... I'm not very good at explaining those kinds of things. ^.^
Sometimes, you seem to use the same words too many times, like "cat-girl" and "wolf-boy." Also, it was a little unclear as to exactly what the wolf and cat were, why the jewel was so important, or how the wolf-boy even betrayed the cat. Otherwise, not a bad story. I like the idea. Thanks for entering! -
Wow. I really liked that. It was amazing. I'm a Warriors fan too. It didn't seem much like a prologue, maybe a first chapter!

Yeah, I am a Warriors fan. (: I kind of got the idea from Warriors, but several other books too, and my imagination. Thanks KareBear!

It was kinda random, but very good. I see you're a Warriors fan? Did you possibly get the idea from that? (: Keep writin
