What is the difference between you and I?1

I am a girl, you are a guy,2

But our thoughts are quite similar in ways,3

That I realize more every single day.4

We are both jealous, we are both mean,5

But together we make a hard team,6

We may fight too much and too long,7

But that just proves that we’re so strong.8

We are both kind, we are both shy,9

yet some how we make each other cry,10

I listen to music to get rid of stress,11

And you yell, fight, and make a big mess,12

We are too much for each other ,that’s true,13

But that doesn’t mean I can’t be with you14

People may think I’m losing my mind,15

But when I need comfort, its you I find.16

People may try to rip us apart,17

For the safety of our mind and heart.18

But our bond is strong, our hate is weak,19

The love we have is ours to keep.20

We are both angry, we are both sad,21

That sometimes makes things go bad.22

But in the end we always make up,23

No matter how painful, hard and tough.24

We are strong enough for it all,25

We will never let each other fall.26

And I swear, all I ask for in life,27

Is for us to be alright. 28

    This is good... You got some nice points and I like the actually 'plot' of it, stating the differences and similarities... If I were you though, I would play around with the thesaurus, look for unique synonyms for words that we see every day, just to make it more poetic... check out my poem "Mayfield King" to see what I mean...

    I really like this line though ; "But our bond is strong, our hate is weak," -- That is a good way to view love, no matter how old, or where you go, people are going to try shit... it's good to know that your already aware of this...
