Escape to Amnity-Ch.6

"Wait, how can that be? I think you had a bit too much wine at supper," Eli told me. She go out of bed and started leading me to the door, but I shook her off.1

"Eli, think about it. Exact copies, but exact opposites. We both had visions and I'm all blue and you're all purple. Exrteme pain with spread far and wide; we fell to the ground because of a new and random pain. Marks will appear, the tattoos." The more I told her and she realized, the wind picked up faster and faster. "I beat you in fighting, and you are making the wind blow like crazy outside." The wind fell.2

"But, I'm not destined for greatness. I'm just the odd girl who keeps to herself. Why would the God want me to help his world?"3

"I too am the odd queit girl, but from that I learned that the most unexpected person is going to do wonderful things."4

"I...I don't believe it. I'm not great and I'm not a savior!" She stormed into the entry rrom, grabbed her cloak and some food.5

"What are you doing Eli?" I asked worridly.6

"Leaving."7

"Why?!"8

"I shouldn't be a savior. As long as I'm around you, I withh always have that part that may come out. If I'm not by you, there's no way I can be the savior that assists you."9

"No, Eli, you can't leave!"10

"And why is that? So you can have a friend? Or maybe you just want to keep loading off of me." I was shocked. It felt like a knife was stabbed right into my core and was being twisted and dug even more into me.11

"But...you're my sister."12

"Just because some hundred year old people said we were doesn't mean it's true." I followed her everywhere she went to in the house. From the closet, to the kitchen, even the stables. 13

"Eli, I won't let you go just because you don't believe in yourself."14

"Are you saying I'm stupid? Just a worthless misfit that hates everything and herself?"15

"I never did. Now stop turning the subject on me and get back inside."16

"No."17

"Very well," I pulled out my sword andsomehow, it turned into a sword made of the coldest ice I ever felt! I stared at it curiously. The more I saw the ice, the angier I became. The anger in me melted from me into the sword and the ice got even colder.18

"You want to play like that? Fine." She dismounted from the horse she had just gotten on blew at my sword. Her breath knocked the weapon out of my hand. I drew out my knife, and it began to burn. I threw it at her and it pinned her to the wall of the stables by her cloak. She simply blew out the flame and advanced towards me. She ended up turning the fire on me. I dodged her punches that had the exrta advantage of fire and doused her with water. All of the magic I ended up using was a mystery to me as to how I used it. We punchedat the same time, fire collided with water.19

"It's a draw!" I said freeing my hand. 20

"Let me go," Eli said angrily.21

"Fine. I fought for you, risked myself from being burned, and yet still you go. So go." She did. On top of her horse, she rode off, away from her house, away from me.22

Weeks passed. I was alone with a huge house, food, books, horses, but I was never sastified. I always saw glimmers of purple, but never saw Eli. One day, I was reading and I heard a knock at my, actually Eli's, door. I went to answer, wondering who would come here. I opened the door.23

"Eli, I came here for the--" I looked at the man who just said that.24

"May I help you?" I asked.25

"You're not Eli."26

"No, I'm not. She left and I inherited her house. What was it you saught her for?"27

"I was here for a visit. I come weekly. You see, me and Eli were close friends. I was actually quiet fond of her." He looked so sad. I couldn't leave him there.28

"id you want a drink? Nothing better than cold wine for sadness. Well, I wouldn't know. My dad would though." We both laughed.29

"Sure. I'm Seth by the way." 30

"I'm Amy."31

He sat down, as did I. He sipped at his wine while I told him about how Eli left.32

"She just didn't like you, so she left?" Seth said.33

"Yes. I don't know why she just didn't make me leave." 34

"So how did you meet her?"35

"Ii was walking in the market and just began talking with her." For hours we talked and the more we did, the more I began wondering if Seth had too much wine. He was looking at me with the strangest eyes I had never before seen. It bothered me at first, but it began to fasinate me. His blue eyes were sparkling with, what seemed like, amazement. His black hair kept falling in his face and he had to push it behind his ears. It wasn't queit shoulder length, but almost there. It became clear to me that I was after something when I he put down his cup and his arm was revealed. It was fit and strong. I didn't want to like him, it's not like me to do that with a man I just meet, but I couldn't resist it.36

"So, what's your favorite color?" Seth asked.37

"Sky blue. That's a random question. What brought it up?"38

"Oh, I just noticed how your eyes have a pretty color to them and I, guess I just got curious."39

"Nothing's wrong with curiousity," I said. My voice became quieter and I became nervous. He got closer, too close. 40

"Nothing at all," he said before he kissed me. I don't know why I didn't shove him off and break his arm when it reached around my waist. I normally would have done that with anyone. I felt so wrong for allowing it. I just had just met him and then allowed him to kiss me. I gave up on questioning myself and just...kised back. My hands went around his neck when the door flew open. We both stopped and looked at what was happening.41

"This is not...I can't believe..." It was Eli.42

"Eli, you're back!" I said standing up with my arms open for her. She stared on with her hostile eyes.43

"Not only did you drive me from my house, but you took Seth?!" I looked at Seth with a curious face.44

"Eli, listen," Seth began. "I never said I officially loved you. I just said I was fond of--"45

"Well, next time think about that before you go off taking my sister!" Seth was caught in the middle of me and Eli's arguement. Worst of all, I was in their, or our, love story.

Long, random and too fast isn't it?
