I turned and saw a man leaning against the wall of a building. He was holding something golden behind his cloak. It was the golden crown.1
"Hey you," I shouted.2
He saw me and ran off vrey fast, like a roadrunner, and then I chased after him. He knocked over a barrel to block me, but I jumped over it. He even threw a big piece of wood at me but, in good timing, I missed it. I was on his tail but I could not keep up with him forever. Then I stopped and found a rock on the ground. I picked it up and threw it as hard as I could at the running man. I hit him upside the head. He lay there, unconsciously, and then I picked up the crown and headed towards Poseidon.3
The second wave already hit but, good news, it was not as strong as the first one. I still had time to get the crown to Poseidon. When I got close enough to Poseidon, Aries, the god of war, came down from mount. Olympus and attacked Poseidon.4
"Oh great this is all we need," I said angrly, "An all out war between the gods and a destruction of a city! What a day this has turned out to be."5
There was no way to reach Poseidon now.6
Aries got out his sword and charged at Poseidon but he dodged the oncoming sword. Then Poseidon struck at Aries with his trident and left a big, bloody scar on Aries's side. That made him really angry and he got out his bow and arrow. But Aries was not fast enough and Poseidon knocked him off his feet, with a giant wave. This was taking forever and I will never give him his crown, so I thought I would get their attention the old fashioned way. It was risky, and dumb, but it was the only way.7
I ran over to a building close to Poseidon. There was a ladder and I climbed it all the way to the top. I ducked after almost getting hit by Aries's sword, as it swooped over my head. I got up, turned to the fighting gods, and yelled at the top of my voice, "SSSTTTTOOOOPPP!" The gods stopped fighting and looked at me. I told them I got the crown back from the thief and came to return it to Poseidon. He put the crown in his sea temple, which is under water, where it will stay and know one will ever get it.8
Poseidon said thank you and waved good-bye. He returned to the sea. Aries flew up into the sky, and back to Mount. Olypus. I became a hero after saving the city Athenians, but there was no time for celebration, now it was time to clean up the mess. I even became the mayor and ran the city but, on my spare times, I still worked in the fields. I have to get back to work now and I hoped you enjoyed my story. 9
The End
