I rolled my eyes, but Kathrine didn't notice. She was too busy ogling him. 2
Kathrine proclaimed her crush on a guy at least a couple of times a week. Sure, at 14, my hormones were raging too, but there was such thing as a secret crush. Her open comments were a proclamation to me that yet another guy was off limits, because once amorous feelings were stated by one of my friends, I felt guilty even flirting with that guy. 3
"I'm going to go talk to him" She said as she hurriedly gathered her items for the check out Jason was at. "Whatever you do, Sarah, don't embarrass me!"4
"What was that?" I thought to myself, "An invitation for embarrassment?"5
An evil grin crossed my face. "Kathryn!" I shouted across 15 feet of grocery store, "I think we forgot to grab the tampons!"6
