When Amber woke up, she grabbed at her arm to see if those painful marks where really there. She desperately wanted them to be gone, but she was rudely mistaken.2
"SHITTTTTTTTTTTTT!" she screamed. "What the FUCK did I do?!" She fell on her knees and started crying. She traced the 'sorry' filled with redness and marked by tenderness with her fingertips. 3
Amber took a shower and got ready to go see Jos. She knew she would never be able to tell him what she had done until he asked about the scars. She prayed he would never ask.4
Amber arrived at the hospital. She felt something. She didn't know what the feeling was, so she ignored it.5
Amber walked into Jos' room. Something was different. Something was... not quite right. Jos' parents weren't in the room, and there was something about Jos that was... eerie. She walked over to him and kissed his cheek; he was kind of cold. Amber shook him to wake him up, but he didn't. Amber screamed. A nurse ran in to see what was wrong.6
"What's wrong?!" the nurse said.7
"He's not... he's not breathing!" Amber shouted.8
The nurse ran over to Jos to check his vitals. His heart had stopped. While the nurse performed CPR on Joscelin, she paged the doctor.9
"Please God don't let him die!!" Amber prayed. "He's all I have now." she said as the uncontrollable tears started pouring down her face. 10
