One who is Lost

Confusion wreaked its havoc on what was left of the army.  They had not been defeated, had even won the day, but the very leader who rallied them against the enemy now turned his back on his own men.  The havoc was not of a physical sense, it was seen in the morale of the soldiers left alive.  They were to have celebrated this moment for the armies of the conquerer Aelgomael had been broken just hours earlier.1
