Adrina and the Vampire

I now am walking down the streets of Via Del Bacio. I am on my way home, I work at a little bakery where my uncle,Aldo,is the boss he is a old plump man with short pulled back Silver hair and squinty Hazel eyes and skinny little lips. My uncle and my aunt,Isabella,have been taking care of me ever since my mama and papa died when I was only 6 years old in a car crash. I am now 25 and barely have any memory of my loving parents. But,I do have a silver heart-shaped necklace I wear around my neck with a black and white picture of my parents both very serious people dressed in expensive clothes with Green eyes and Pink lips and Black hair.Both my uncle and aunt think I need to head out of their house because I am now 25 and have no boyfriend, no carrer,no family,and no car. So I have to walk everywhere which I truly don't mind doing. I turned and headed down my street I looked up and seen Benita and her little red haired daughter Aida working on their rose garden at their little apartment. "Ciao Benita,Aida"I called up. "Ciao, Adrina"Benita called down. And I smiled and turned away. "Adrina, we have a sale today"Bello said he waved toward a sign that said,"50% off all items"."Thanks, Bello but I must get home"I said and he waved me off and I took off in a sprint. Isabella hated when I was late she said it always made her think I was out doing something bad like her two older sisters would do when they were teenagers or young adults. The streets of Italy grew more narrow as I ran. "Adrina"I heard a deep voice call and I spun around to see Trey and his gang of men dressed in fine suits with combed hair and pockets stuffed of stolen jewelry and money. Trey is my ex-boyfriend from high school he was a good guy until I dumped him and then he became all bad and stole from everyone including children. Trey is a tall man with light Blue eyes and Honey colored hair with a fair complexion. "You been avoiding us,Adrina?"Trey asked and he moved closer as I backed up against the brick wall. "Leave me alone,Trey!"I snapped and shoved him back but he grabbed a hand full of hair and twisted it in his fist."Now,Now ,Adrina no need to be hasty"He laughed darkly."What do you want"I winced when his hand tightened."I want you back"He whispered in my ear."No!No!"I shook my head. I heard from my friends and other people who knew Trey that he got anything he wanted and if it was difficult it could become blood-shed.Trey released his grip and snapped his fingers. I looked over his shoulder to see his gang moving in on us."Don't make this difficult,Adrina"Trey grinned darkly.The gang grinned and moved closer. Trey grabbed my Yellow tank-top and flung me to the ground while they grabbed my legs and pulled me away from the wall."Stop!"I cried and felt the pain in my head and smelled the rusty Blood.I felt a blow to rib and I let out another cry. Several blows continued and then I heard several screams and something being thrown around and around while the boys screamed and ran and I heard a ripping sound and something growling and hissing. I was in to much pain to lift my head so I just laid there hoping to die I was pretty sure I had something broken by my ragged breathing. The horrible sounds continued and then abruptly they stopped and there was nothing but the sound of footsteps coming towards me. I felt something cold on my side touch me and then I passed out from the pain of being moved.....2

I was sure I was dead only because of the darkness and that now I was in no pain my ribs felt fine and my head was not even throbbing."I found her"I heard someone whisper and the sound was like a bell beautiful and light almost lost in the silence but I could hear some worry and terror to the beautiful voice belong to a angel I guessed."What happened?"I heard another voice a little more high-pitched and not as deep as the other angel's voice."Gang fight"The deeped voice angel said."Oh!I see now"The high-pitched voice gasped and then the voice was followed by several hisses and snarls."What do we do?"The deep voice angel whispered."Watch over she should wake up in about...5 seconds tops"The high-pitched one explained."Are you sure?"The deep-one asked the voice shook."Positive,Blake"The high-voiced assured.Blake? Was this the deep voice angel's name? I opened my eyes and was now staring at a very high ceiling that was a pretty white."Told you"The high-pitched voice laughed."Adrina?"The deep voice asked named..Blake.I turned my head and was suddenly speechless the two angels I was staring at were incredibly beautiful so beautiful I forgot how to speak.The girl was tiny and skinny with waist long vivid Red hair that was in waves with light Blue,Green eyes. She was wearing a long Black dress that had a waist length neckline and diamond shape cuts down the middle her features were perfect and but she was deathly Pale.I turned my head away and looked at a beautiful boy now. The angel looking boy was different looking from the girl yet similar somehow he was deathly pale also but had Golden eyes and shoulder length Brown hair pulled back into a low ponytail. He was wearing a long Black coat that reached the floor with Black leather jeans and no shirt.I noticed how buff and defined his pale chest was and I suddenly lost my breath."How are you dear?"The Red haired girl asked."OK?"I asked sounding dumb.The girl smiled revealing ultra-white teeth with 4 longer teeth 2 on top and 2 on the bottom...fangs?"Who are you?"I asked.Blake looked at the red hair girl."I am Baylee and this is Blake my brother"Baylee smiled again."You don't look the same"I muttered."He is a year older I am 26"Baylee laughed and the sound was bell-filled.Wow this girl looked nowhere near 26."What about you?"I asked Blake."I am 27"Blake smiled showing his fangs?"How did you find me?"I looked at them curiously."Do you know what we are?"Baylee asked looking shocked."Werewolves?"I guessed and they broke out laughing."What?"I snapped."No where near werewolves those ugly creatures"Baylee shuddered.I knew that werewolves and all those other so called mythical creatures existed some people were clueless though."Vampires?"I whispered.Blake and Baylee smiled."Yes"Blake said.So that's why they are so beautiful."What happened to Trey and his gang?"I asked."I handled them"Blake whispered and Baylee stiffened."Are there just two of you in your...coven I think you call it"I smiled weakly."No there is a lot of us our coven is one of the largest"Blake said."How many?"I asked."10"Baylee chirped.I just stared wide eye 10 vampires and one human that could be worse than dealing with Trey's gang."Do they now?"I asked."Yes,but they left to go hunt just in case"Baylee smiled over at me.I finally took the time to check out the room.There was two leather black chairs and two Black leather sofas.The room was Gothic with Black crystal chandlers and wine glasses full of Red wine.I sat up and Baylee and Blake watched me cautiously.I oddly felt fine nothing hurt.I looked down and noticed someone had dressed me in a short Blue skirt and a Black long sleeved sequin shirt.Just then I looked at the clock and it said 7:57 PM."Isabella!"I cried."What?"Blake asked."My aunt and uncle are going to kill me!"I sighed."I can drive you home"Blake said."Really?"I asked and I looked at him cautiously maybe he was thirsty."I am not thirsty"Blake shook his head as he read my expression.I nodded and stood up I looked down at my feet and sign Black high heels."Are these yours?"I asked Baylee."Yes,you can just have them though"She shrugged and got up she was a whole foot shorter than me."see ya successiva"Baylee called as she walked out of the huge Black wooden door.I followed Blake out of a opposite door and he lead me to a Black Porsche."Wow"I gasped."I know"He grinned and we climbed into the car."I live on-"He cut me off."I know where you live"He smiled."You do?"I said kinda nervous."I have seen you walk into your house many of times"He smirked and sped off the car was already going 110 miles an hour as we sped through the empty streets.In 10 minutes we reached my house and he walked me up to my door."Buona notte,Adrina"He said and then he reached up to stroke my cheek with one cold finger.I waited for him to pull away but he did'nt he leaned forward and cradled my face very carefully he leaned forward and I closed my eyes and felt his lips press softly against mine for a few seconds I breathed in his sweet smell and then to soon he pulled back."Bye"I whispered as he turned away and climbed back into his car.I sighed and opened my door. Isabella was waiting at a small table speaking frantically on the phone in Italian screaming about me being gone not returning."Isabella?"I said as I walked in."Oh"She hung up the phone and ran over to me."Adrina,where have you been?"She cried throwing her arms around me."Well,I got in a fight with Trey and a beautiful vampire named Blake saved me"I smiled as I remembered the soft kiss."Vampires!"Isabella snapped."Yes,why?"I asked shocked Isabella studied mythical creatures why was she freaking out.My aunt started twirling with a piece of her light Blonde/Silver hair. Her Brown eyes worried."What's wrong?"I asked."Be careful"Was all Isabella said before she stomped up the stairs and slammed her door.I looked around for my uncle but he was nowhere in sight.I just sighed and walked up the steps wondering what was wrong with Isabella?And when I would see Blake again.3

"Here you go"I smiled at the little toddler as I handed her a cookie."Thanks Missy!"She said bouncing up and down that she got a free snack.The bakery has been doing well this year but ever since Isahella's tyrad yesterday she has not talked to me or Aldo."Do you know what's wrong with,Isabella?"I turned around to ask him.He looked up at me he was making bread."What do you mean?"He narrowed his eyes."She snapped at me when I told her a...Vampire saved me"I whispered the last part."Huh"was all Aldo said as he turned around away from me to continue working.The rest of the day was fast and Aldo barely said a word to me.When my day finally ended I closed up the story and put my red crop jacket on.I walked outside and spotted a beautiful guy leaning against a Black Porsche...Blake!"Adrina come on"He waved me over.I smiled and jogged over to him."Do you want to come over?"He asked."Sure...oh wait I have to go home or Isabella and Aldo will freak out again"I smirked."I had Baylee take care of it"He smiled."How?"I asked and I tilted my head."She said she is a new friend and you were going shopping"He shrugged.I smiled and got into his pretty car. Blake looked over at me and I felt myself blush just thinking about last night."Are you upset I kissed you?"Blake asked as we pulled into his house."No"I smiled to reassure him."I think it was pretty great"He whispered.I looked over and smiled again.He got up out of his car and ran around to my side in blinding speed."Out you go"He smirked and took my hand but did not release it as we stood up to walk inside.He opened the door for me and I gasped there were not 2 vampires in here there are 10!"It's ok"Blake whispered.I scanned the room all of the vampires were all the same beautiful and pale."Everyone this is Adrina"Blake announced."Hello"The vampires all say together.I grin slightly and then Blake takes my hand and we sit on the opposite sofa with no other Vampires there."This is Aine,Briana,and Casey"Blake said as he waved toward 3 girls sitting on the floor.Aine is a very tall woman with short cropped Blond hair and tiny Brown eyes in a purple tank-top with knee-high Black boots and Blue skinny jeans. Briana looks like a little girl with long Pink and Black hair with huge Black eyes in white shorts,tennis shoes,and a Pink sweater.Casey on the other hand in both she is mature in her posture but young with her looks. Her Orange hair is boy cut and her Green eyes are smudged with Red eyeshadow she is in a long Red dress that is to her ankles."They joined us 4 years ago after they left Ireland"Blake said and they all 3 smiled."Oh right now this is Tanner,Clove,and Arabella"Blake said. Tanner is a short buff guy with no hair at all and a ratted pair of Jeans and old t-shirt on. Clove looks like his twin brother with the same color of Hazel eyes except he has nice slacks and a nice jacket on.Arabella reminds me of my grandma she seems old and slow but yet stunning and beautiful vivid Red hair like Baylee's ,long braided hair reaches her waist as well,and her Blue,Green eyes are small and sad looking she is in a pair of Black shorts no shoes and a green sweater."Arabella is Baylee's twin sister"Blake added.And Baylee smiled over at me. "Arabella,Baylee,and I were found by our leader Roberto"Blake nodded toward a tall man with vivid Black hair and light Emerald eyes in a nice Black suite holding hands with a short girl with wavy Hay colored hair dressed in a Pink Blouse and a tight Gray skirt."Hello,Adrina I am Roberto and this is my wife,Messina"Roberto smiled and Messina waved."Hi"I whispered."And last is me and Baylee"Blake smirked."Nice to meet you all"I grinned shyly."You as well"Messina smiled softly.Tanner and Clove stood up. Tanner grabbed Arabella's hand and Clove took Baylee's. I noticed Briana curl her lip as she watched Tanner and Arabella kiss.All of them left the room together and Baylee said she was just hunting and soon it was just Blake and I."What was wrong with Arabella?"I asked Blake."She misses being mortal"Blake shrugged."When we were all human Arabella and Baylee were closer as twins now they seem like two different people"Blake explained."What about the Irish what is with them?"I asked."Well,Briana is 17 years old and-"I cut him off."What!!She looks like she is 12!"I yelled."Briana is just small but Tanner is 22 years old and married to Arabella so now Briana is just jealous"Blake smiled."Why are you not with Casey,Briana,or Aine?"I asked."Well,Aine is dating a German Vampire named Dale but he is gone right now,and Casey is likes me but she accepted I didn't have any feelings towards her"Blake shrugged."Oh"I bite my lip and stare at the floor."Adrina?"Blake said and he pulls my face around and he looks into my eyes his cool breath pools over my face."Adrina,I want you just you"He whispered."I just met you though"I whisper back and he frowns."I know but I have been watching you for 3 years and I.....I ...love you"Blake muttered.I suddenly feel a urge for Blake I love him to and I don't care I just met him and he is a vampire and my grandma acts like she now hates me I just want him."Oh Blake"I say and press my lips against his he sighs and pulled me down on the sofa and began to kiss me his lips were smooth and ice cold. I sighed and very carefully pressed my tongue to the top of his lip. Blake sighed and pulled back."What?"I asked and felt rejection wash over."Your blood"He smiled."Sorry"I muttered."My family will be returning soon"He added."Oh"I frowned.Blake laughed and touched my lip."Don't worry"He smiled and then leaned closer to whisper in my ear his breath tickled."I will love you in the morning"He sighed happily."Really?"I laughed."Yes"He said his voice so seductive it made me want to cry.He pulled me into a sitting position again."Let's get you home"He said and grabbed my hand pulling me out the door and into his Porsche.I held his on the way home and we just threw flirty glances at each other with no words.We pulled to my house and he walked me to the door like always."When will I see you again?"I asked."Well,it's Friday and my family really did not go hunting they just gave us some alone time but I heard Baylee whispering she wanted in but I have to hunt this weekend so I will see you,Monday"He smirked.I pouted I had to wait ugh!"Don't worry"He smiled and kissed my pouting lips for a few minutes and then gently pulled back cradling my face."Good night,Adrina"He whispered his cool breath blew in my face."Good night,Blake"I smiled. Blake grinned one last time and then walked back to his car.I turned around and noticed that I had no shopping bags time to make a lie.I walked inside and Isabella and Aldo were sitting on our old ratty Blue couch."Did you have fun with your new friend?"Aldo asked."Yes,I really like Baylee"I smiled.Isabella narrowed her eyes."Where them shopping bags?"She mumbled."I did not like anything and I had no money with me"I said."Huh"Aldo grunted with Isabella."Night"I groaned and ran up the stairs and fell asleep quickly dreaming of Blake.4

Saturday was to slow and I had no Blake to look forward to so I just went home and watched TV but when I walked into my room I found a white note folded twice on my bed.I unfolded it and read the note in my head,5

Meet me at the club in the back of your street called Vamps I left my family early to see you I won't to finish what we left off dear I will see you tomorrow night at 7:30 and don't be late7

I smiled Blake wanted to continue what we were doing before.I quickly slipped the note into my desk and got ready for bed and fell asleep thinking about seeing Blake tomorrow night.10

In the morning,I woke up and got ready for work by brushing out my Black hair and throwing it up into a high ponytail and dabbing some light Yellow eye-shadow over my Green eyes.I pulled on some jeans,tennis shoes,and a Yellow tank-top that had the dirt and blood stains removed from when Trey and his gang tried to kill me.I skipped down the stairs and seen Aldo waiting for me quietly.Isabella was scowling at me."Adrina,I need to speak to you in the kitchen!"She snapped and grabbed my hand pulling me away."What?"I asked when we stopped and she braced herself against the stone table."I know about the Vampire coven"She whispered."So?"I said."They are dangerous people immortal and lethal"She moaned in agony."How do you know?"I asked."Because,my best friend was killed by one is high school she was dating him and we were only 17 and he just one day accidentally killed her and I don't need to lose you from one of those damn,Bloodsuckers to!"She growled."I am an adult and I will do what I want!"I hissed and stomped away."Let's go"Aldo muttered and we walked out of the door leaving Isabella sniffling and stuttering Italian cuss words.We climbed into Aldo's old station wagon and headed to the shop.Aldo drove in silence until we got to the shop and started working on the food."Your aunt is just looking out for you,Adrina"He whispered."I can do whatever the hell I want!"I snapped I barely ever cussed at Aldo or Isabella or anyone else I was in a bad mood."Vampires are dangerous she is right and you could get hurt"He muttered."So your best-friend was a Werewolf"I snapped."Yes,and I got hurt he accidentally broke my leg and scared my body,Adrina"He muttered.I gritted my teeth and stopped talking about it.Aldo ignored me the rest of the day. When the time struck 7:00 I said bye to Aldo and ran straight to the club. I stared at the outside of the club with huge shining words that said VAMPS. This was it I pulled my hair out and walked slowly inside following a bunch of other humans and vampires.The club was not bursting with people dancing,and drunk,and loud music.There was a girl singing a note so long and beautiful it could only done by a Vampire. I looked around for Blake and he was nowhere to be seen.I then spotted two girls from my high school with two beautiful big Vampire men.They were kissing and holding each other but then the men put there lips against their neck and pulled away eyes vivid Red and fangs out and stained with Red. The girls necks were punctured with bloody fang marks.I shuddered and then went up to the bartender to ask if he knew Blake."Hi,I was suppose to meet a Blake here he is a Blond Vampire?"I asked the Vampire he was big and native with long Black hair and no shirt on that was full of odd tattoos."What's your name sweetie?"He asked."Adrina"I said."Niece of Isabella and Aldo?"He asked."Yes"I nodded."Head by the back and you will see the bathrooms there is a door that says private he is in there"The Vampire smiled."Thanks"I said and walked through the crowd and towards the back I spotted two bathrooms boy and girl and unisex,ewww.I looked to the left and read a door that said Private:Staff only.I looked around and pushed the door open it was a lounge and there was a silk sofa that was vivid red and a small bar stacked with fine wine."Hello?"I asked and no answer."Anyone here?"I called again and silence."Blake are you here?"I muttered."Hello,Adrina"I heard someone say and I turned around to find a tall huge vampire with long blond hair and Silver eyes."W-w-ho are you?"I ask."I am Joshua"He nods."And?"I ask backing away."Your boyfriend is Blake right?"He smiles darkly."Yes,and?"I mutter."Well I am a tracker,Adrina"He laughed.I waited."And I track humans I want"He laughed."W-what?"I stuttered truly scared."I seen you get hurt when that human gang tried to kill you and your blood was shed well it was amazing smelling almost fruity smelling and I loved it"He grinned."Well,now that your boyfriend and his family are gone we can just get this over with"He smirked."Please no"I muttered."Sorry gorgeous I have to"He laughed and came closer.I pushed him back and he just grabbed my waist and slammed me into the couch."No"I cried and he took a finger and trailed it up my cheek."This won't hurt to bad"He smiled.I kicked him in his groin and he was shocked and I managed to slip under him and crawl across the floor but he already had a hold of my leg and twisted it so my ankle snapped and broke."Ahhh!Oh my god!!!"I cried as the pain flew up my leg.I tried to crawl again but he grabbed me and kicked me into the wine I heard the glass break and I hit the wood floor and I heard more snaps and the glass feel onto me cutting me all over."Beautiful"Joshua sang as he grabbed me and flung me across the floor I slammed into the bottom of the couch making the pain hurt worse.I dragged myself somewhat across the floor and he flipped me on my back making me scream and cry."Shut up!"He snarled and grabbed my arm I watched as his fangs penetrated in my skin and then darkness.....11

I was floating higher and higher into the air waiting for everything to be better I failed Blake and his coven I would never see them again and I loved him so much and now I was gone and dead without them."Adrina?"I heard an angel say.I looked around and nothing was here."Open your eyes"The angel whispered the voice in pain."Please!"It cried in tearless sobs.I felt my eyes flutter and I looked up into Blake's face."Oh,Adrina"He sighed and kissed my lips softly."I hurt"I whimpered."I know"Blake held my hand."Where am I?"I asked as I looked around into silence and nothing but white."The hospital"He whispered."What happened?"I asked."The Vampire bite you and broke 3 ribs,your ankle,and you got a lot of lost blood and glass in you"He said."How am I still here?"I asked."Because I brought you here and the doctors took the venom out of your bite and saved you"He muttered softly."Where is Baylee and then?"I asked."Home they could not stand the blood"He smiled."But you stayed"I grinned."Because,I love you,yes"He grinned."Thanks"I sighed."Isabella,Aldo?"I asked."Home they are waiting for you"He smiled."When can I leave?"I muttered."4 days"He sighed."Man"I pouted."I know...I have to go,love"He muttered."NO!"I cried and felt the medicine in me making me sleepy."Fine,I will stay but you need to go to sleep now"He whispered."Fine"I yawned and looked up at him."I will never leave you,Adrina I love you to much"Blake whispered and leaned closer to me."I love you too"I said and he kissed my lips silently and pulled away and my eyes closed and I entered sweeter darkness that told me life and death were two things I had to live through for Blake....12
