She was staring out the window while the heavy rain poured with extreme monotone.1

Everything was drenched almost melting, skies so grey they were stealing the very energy around her. 2

She clenched her fists angry at everything, even down to the little ant that helplessly ran for its life while her cat was hunting down her prey.3

"WHY!"she shouted so loud that even hell could have heard her if it wasnt full of screams already.4

There was nothing she could do, nothing she could say that would make her feel better after witnessing such a traumatizing event.5

The sound of childrens laughter while playing in the park, birds singing, the sound of the fountain going wild with energy.7

Walking past she could not hold back the temptation to pick flowers and pretend that she was a little girl again after a hard days work at the office.8

Everything was peaceful until the sound of tires screetched around the corner and suddenly stopped parked perfectly by the side of the road.9

A man drenched in tattoos wearing a leather jacket stepped out of the car and suddenly pulled out a gun and began shooting every living thing that his eye caught sight of.10

He missed one however, the lady who this story belongs to.11

She just happened to be lying on the grass closing her eyes to catch a wink of sleep for she had to pull an all nighter that night. 12

After hearing gunshots she stayed on the ground playing possum hoping that he would overlook her form on the grass.13

She peeped an eye open and saw that the coast was clear so ever so slowly she got up and took a hard look around to see what damage he could have cost.14

Horror struck her as she look all around to see the whole park covered in blood no living thing in sight, not even a single bird....................15

She snapped back to reality with the sound of the clock that just strunk one.17

"DAMN!"she thought "Just how long was i dozing off for? i better get back to work!"18

She thought for a moment before wondering "Why was I the only one that survived? It's not fair to the other people who actually lost wives, kids, dads, and dogs" she was a nobody that nobody even cared about.....or so she thought. 19

So she decided that she should not have to carry around this memory, this burden that has been lingering for 4 years. \par20

She slowly walked to the kitched and took out a knife and thought " It should be fine because i cant even remember the last time somebody even said hi to me" she lifted the knife and placed it lightly on her wrist and without thinking twice again she cut her wrist and thoughtlessly waited for herself to drift off to the abyss...............21

Knock, knock, knock, knock............23

"Are you in there?" A friendly voice came from the other side of the door.24

"I've brought over cake and presents for your birthday.......comon open the door" still no answer came so he dissapointedly walked back over to his car feeling completely left out. 25

A few hours later he was watching the news and he had a really shocking surprise waiting for him...........26

The lady that survived the massacre 4 years ago was found dead today......the cause of death was suicide...................
