Thoughts from a Concious Driver

Monday Morning.... 7 AM 1

You're driving down the road, the sun is just starting to come up your eyes still tired from the 4 hours you MAY have gotten last night. Ahead of you, miles down the road college is waiting.. for the twelfth day in a row. You're excited as usual, to get the day over with. 2

Suddenly, from behind you comes another car.. you yawn and relax since you're in a 25 mile an hour street, no need to be squirrely. 3

The car behind you is suddenly MUCH closer in your rearview mirror than he was before, so much so that he is riding your bumper. A tingle of annoyance seeps through you, you hate it when they do this, you tap your breaks encouraging him to get off your butt. 4

Hello, this little short goes out to all the people who have ridden someone's bumper because they were too damn lazy to OBEY the traffic rules. I've been fed up here for awhile and I think it's time I shared some intellect. 6

Not only is it dangerous for you, but it's dangerous to the other person as well. Continually driving too close to someone to encourage them to speed up is bullying and it opens you up to "Road Rage" 8

Someone could slam on their breaks and you wouldn't be able to stop in time before you rammed into their bumper. 9

Think about what would be going on AHEAD of you! What if someone eight cars up from you slammed their breaks and everyone else stopped perfectly avoiding a collision and you, (The person who was riding the car in front of you) crashed into the back of the forward car? 10

Don't speed, don't ride other people's bumpers, oh and before I forget... when you're turning onto another road, turn in the lane you belong in.. not the left lane. When you turn right, you're supposed to stay in the RIGHT LANE when you turn LEFT you stay in the LEFT LANE. Doing otherwise could cause you to crash. 11
