Draco's Troubles Part 1

Draco entered the Slytherin common room with his cronies Crabbe and Goyle. He walked over to a couch and took a seat. His mind was racing about what he just saw. A Slytherin seventh year had performed crucio on another seventh year only he was in Ravenclaw. It seems like the Ravenclaw was supposed to have some information regarding the Death Eaters for the Slytherin but he didn't have any. Draco had been hiding in the corners of the dark empty classroom where it took place. The Slytherin (Chris Jackelby) had told him that if he was interested he could go with him to see how a real Slytherin takes care of things if it doesn't go their way. Chris was Draco's idol up to 20 minutes ago when he saw that horrible event take place. As soon as they left the room Draco raced down to the Great Hall to find Crabbe and Goyle then headed back to the common room. 1

"What's wrong Draco?" Pansy cooed as she entered the common room from the girl's dormitories. 2

"Nothing Pansy."3

"Are you sure? You look like you just saw a ghost," she laughed at her own little ghost.4

"Ha ha very funny. go tell that one to the Bloody Baron." Draco was not in the mood to talk. Especially to Pansy. Pansy had fancied Draco for a while, everybody knew that. Draco liked her but not like that. There was somebody else he liked. He didn't dare tell anybody though. Not even Crabbe or Goyle. Nobody knew who he liked, and that's the way it's going to stay. it would be very embarrassing if somebody found out. 5

"I'm tired. It's going to be a busy day tomorrow, I need to sleep," Draco told Crabbe and Goyle. He stood up and made his way to bed.6

Draco did not sleep easy that night. His head was full of nightmares. After he finally fell asleep visions of him being the Ravenclaw that Chris tortured filled his mind. He was alone in the room in front of Chris.8

"What did you find out?" Chris demanded.9

"What do you mean?" Draco mumbled in fear.10

"You know what i mean"11

"no i don't. you must have the wrong person."12

"I'm quite sure i have the right person now tell me what you found out about the Death Eaters."13

"I know nothing about the subject I'm only in my fifth year."14

"Tim stop joking around and tell me now. this is your last chance."15

"I'm not Tim I'm Dra..."16

"CRUCIO!" All of a sudden Draco felt immense pain. Screaming was coming form somewhere. It took him a minute to realize that it was him who as screaming. 17

"Draco, DRACO!!" a nearby voice shouted.18

He opened his eyes to see Crabbe, Goyle and another Slytherin fifth year over him.19

"Draco what happened?" Crabbe go out before a Slytherin Prefect burst through the door.20

"What's going on in here?" he demanded.21

"Draco just had a nightmare," Goyle answered.22

"Are you OK now Draco?" the prefect asked.23

"Ya...ya I'm fine." 24

"OK then. Everybody back to bed now." Everybody crawled back into bed every now and then glancing at Draco. i wish i could just get this off my mind, he thought. i need to tell somebody, but if i do Chris might perform the curse on me. What should I do?25
