Chapter 51

Krystal wandered around the house for a couple of minutes until she went back to her room. She was amazed on how exact everything was, her small brown warn out teddy bear was even sitting on her bed. She smiled to her self-remembering the day her father had given it to her; she closed her eyes to think. That’s when she felt a wind around her and she opened her eyes everything was getting blurry and going black. Was she blacking out? She had never blacked out before and did know what it felt like. She looked around as everything disappeared and she seemed to be moving through a tunnel like space. 2

“Oh my God! What’s happening!?!” she was really panicking now this had never happened to her before, all she had down was closed her eyes and thought about the day her father had given her the teddy. That had been 7 years ago almost a month before her father had supposable died. That’s when she looked down at her watch, but it was hard to even lift her arm in the dense space of the tunnel like place. Her watch was moving backwards, what was happening. Then it hit her, (“ouch damn rock”) her father had told her that she had more than just the power of mind reading, was this one of them? But what exactly was it. Suddenly she came to a stop and fell from the sky out side of a house, next to a window.3

“God…if this ever happens to me again I have to work on the landing part.” She rubbed her butt some as she stood up and looked around, then saw into the window. “What the…that’s…. me… but little and that’s dad before he left.” She blinked and shook her head thinking this must seriously be a dream. But when she had looked back into the window she noticed that they were still there. That’s when she figured it out she had just jumped back in time. One of her other powers must have been time travel. ‘Yes that must be it!’ she thought.4

“Here hunny take this, I bought it for you.” Her father handed the younger her a teddy.5

“Thank you daddy!!” she ran forward and hugged his leg taking the teddy. Krystal watched remembering the day like it was yesterday. (Actually more like today since she was seeing it right then) Then suddenly she realized that if this was the past, she couldn’t be seen, she didn’t want to change the future at all. ‘How am I to get back now? I barely know how I got here.’ She thought and looked around then sat down on the cold ground and leaned back against her house.6

~~~Back in Present time~~~7

Her father had just gotten home a few minutes ago with her mother and both of them had been searching around for her since they had arrived.8

“Krystal Dae Akera! Do you hear me!? You better stop playing around and get out here, your not a little kid anymore. You haven’t played these games in years!!” Her mother yelled while looking for her.9

“Um…. Lily (her mothers name) I don’t think she’s here, she said she might go out into the town, but actually I don’t think she’s even in this time.” Her father explained to her mother.10

“What… What do you mean not in this time?! Where is she then, with dinosaurs?!” 11

“No, I believe she must have been thinking about a memory and closed her eyes wishing she could go back and be there. And then that’s what happened she time hopped back to it. Just give a sec and I can figure out where she is,” He reassured his wife some by kissing her cheek, then closed his eyes and concentrated, “Ok I found her she time hoped seven years back to… the day I gave her the teddy bear she loves so much. Ok then I’m gonna go and get her she needs to get back here before the time hop is permanent or she changes the present in anyway.” He nodded then concentrated and disappeared into the tunnel that Krystal had just been in about an hour ago. (Yes with time hopping it takes awhile and sometimes you can get stuck making it longer) 12

Her father arrived not to long after he had left, considering he was pretty much an expert at this by now. He landed in the same place Krystal had landed and looked over at her leaning against the wall half asleep. 13

“Krystal come on wake up we have to get out of her,” he nudged her and grabbed her hand. She looked at him and smiled.14

“You found me…I’m glad I thought I was stuck here forever.”15

“Hey, didn’t I tell you I wouldn’t let anything happen to you?” he smiled knowing her answer already from reading her mind. He held her hand tightly as her watch started to go forward in time and they disappeared, going into the tunnel once again.16
