Nathan didnt get mail at least not letters. In this day of age who would bother writing anything by hand computers are there for a reason. What he did get in the mail however was credit card offers and collage application forms. The normal things 18 year olds get after high school. 1
The envolope had many stamps on it al of whitch he did not regonize and the hand writing was antiqued and flowing very much like something you would have seen a hundred years ago. The sound of his fathers voice callng him from down the driveway purged the thoughts from his mind. And as he walked down the long treelined drive he would have forgotten it if not for those odd stamps and handwriting. 2
It was an old house wood shingled turned gray by the sun, it was on the ocean side of cape code. Just a sumer place his father had bought a few years back for making a large sale of somthing or another. 3
