-Episode 1-8

Twiggy was the first up in the morning. With a yawn, she got out of the burrow and stretched in the golden sand. Redwick poked his head from the burrow and looked around before joining his companion. Slowly, the rest of this 19 strong mob awakened and came up from the sleeping burrow. The pups- Naiomi, Lion, Cave, halloween, Ox, Bull, and Parsley- tumbled through the sand and played. Akila, one of the brave subordinates, climbed a tree to keep watch. Her once beautiful face was now slightly disfigured from a long-ago fire that the mob had suffered. But that was the past, and now, Twiggy had moved on. Though everything seemed perfect that morning, the mob had no idea what they where in for. Halloween breaks off to talk to play with Cave, and thats when things go down hill. The two seem to get along fine, though jelousy is present between Cave and his younger, adopted brother, Parsley. Parsley had been found by a babysitter named Vella, who was the mother of Cave, Naiomi and Pup. Pup died from a snake bite that he took for Twiggy, saving her life, and Vella was killed by a jackal, leaving Twiggy to care for her pups. 9

All of the sudden, Cave snapped. It started off as a warning growl. Then, Parsley attacked Cave. The burrow was in a sudden uproar. Parsley was hitting him, hurting him! Twiggy ran forward and grabbed the two, spereating them. But even held away from eachother, they tried desperately to attack one another. Twiggy snarls warningly at Parsley. She seems to wonder what has gotten into her beloved son. Parsley breaks from her paw and makes a dash for it. Twiggy tries to chase after Parsley, sending out desperate cries. But its all to clear that he is not coming back. Flower crawls over to cave, checking to see if he has any major injuries. Twiggy stands at the edge of the feild, watching her adopted son run straight into Twilight territory. She knows there is nothing she can do to bring him back- this was between Cave and him. But clearly, there was something other than jelousy that sparked such a major battle between two brothers. Only time will tell what it was.10

-Episode 2-11

That day, Parsley was not the only problem. Though she could not see them, Twiggy was being watched. Saphira- The Raging Eagles Dominant Female- always seemed jelouse of Twiggy's larger mob. Now she watched her arch-rival from behind the shelter of a bush. Akila was the first to scent danger. Sounding the alarm, Twiggy snapped out of her daze watching Parsley enter Twilight territory. Now arose a bigger problem. Twiggy was the first to do the war-dance towards Saphira. Saphira came from hiding along with her mob, and bounded towards the leafkats. Flower and Honey, one of the babysitters, rounded up the pups. Except, they forgot one. Little Bull was left behind. He looked around, confused. Flower and Honey where completely obliviouse to Bull's crys for help. Donner, The Raging Eagles dominant male, was the first to hear Bull. Poor Bull was left defenseless. Donner went in for the kill. Picking Bull up by the scruff, he prepared to drag Bull to the rest of his mob where they would brutally kill him. Unfortunately for Donner, he was spotted by Mitch and Redwick. Mitch charged at him, tackling Donner to the ground! Redwick picked his son up and carried him back to Flower and Honey. Meanwhile, Saphira and Twiggy where neck and neck. Twiggy made a quick hipslam to knock Saphira down, then gave her a nasty bite on her tail. Saphira jumps up and runs, taking her mob with her. This battle was won, but not without a price. Alomost all of the mob suffered casualties. The Raging Eagles will be back, and so will Parsley. 12

-episode 3-13

That night, no one really slept well. With the loss of Parsley, Twiggy was constantly twisting and turning in sleep, waiting for her baby to come home. The other 11 meerkats where busy waking up to tend to there wounds. The pups, Flower, and Honey where the only ones who slept just fine. The next morning, Twiggy was the first one awake, as usual. When everyone was up and out of the burrow, Twiggy begun to lead them off, but she was leading them opposite of the foraging grounds. Now tha Parsley was after Cave, he was no longer safe at the burrow.Shes the same age as Twiggy's pups. Normally a dominant female would not except another meerkats pups, but Twiggy just couldn't resist this feeble pup who was in need of so much help. She knew how it was to lose pups. Having lost her previouse litter- Kero, Luna, Color and Blade- Twiggy knew that their was either a mother looking for her baby or an evicted female who was forced to leave her litter behind. Twiggy picks Lion up and carrys her below ground for the night. She'll have a tough time finding Lion's parents because they are dead. When Lion was a tiny pup, she was dropped by a bird of prey, nearly killing her after her mom died.14

-episode 4-15

The next morning, Twiggy gets up first and warms her fur. Honey is playing with the pups on a flat sunning rock. She seems to be enjoying her time with them, since subordinate females aren't allowed to have pups of their own, and this was the best she would get. But there was one more pup no one knew about. One more pup everyone thought they had left behind... Parsley watched in spite as the groups played right infront of him. He was hiding from the mob in a patch of scraggly bushes.Cave breeps in terror when he sees his brother charge out at him! Parsley jumps on his, slamming Cave's throat with a hard rock. Dark, Twiggy's eldest daughter, runs forward and throws Parsley off. This time, he meant buisness. Redwick, Flower, and Dark form a protective circle around Cave. Twiggy slinks forward to Parsley. She still doesn't seem to understand why Parsley is acting this way, and she just wants her old son back. But no amount of soft welcoming calls will stop PArsley. He lashes out a Twiggy, sending her off the wall. Twiggy throws Parsley away from the group. She had to protect her remaining pups. Parsley glares at Twiggy. Its obviouse he will be back once he gets back into shape. With a glance at his brother, Parsley is gone again. He leaves his old family confused, hurt, and on edge...16
