Beautiful Stranger 2~Edward Cullen Love Story~

Chapter 21

George Wellman2

(Before Sandra enters the Sunrise Inn)3

I sigh loudly. I haven’t had a customer for 3 days now. I'm starting to think that I should just hit the sack, I’m fairly sure there will be no one coming in tonight. But just as that thought passed my mind, I heard the bell to the door twinkle, signaling that someone had just entered. I looked up from the book that I was reading, but almost dropped it as I saw who had entered. It was a young girl around the age of 15 or 16. She was absolutely, undoubtfully the most beautiful being I have ever laid eyes on in my entire life. She had long flowing black hair that reached all the way down to her mid back, and she was quite short but had an amazing body(just in a friendly way!), The most lovely set of azure eyes that sparkled, and shined with brightness. But I can see the unmistakable misery, the pain in those enchanting eyes. She begins speaking. I feel my eyes widen in shock from the haunting melody of her voice, that has a sweet pained tune to it, matches her eyes quite perfectly, that sounds like the exquisite sound of wind chimes and bells, and the fact that she has just stated a shocking piece of information. She had a son. I heard the incredibly large amount of sheer love gush into her voice when she spoke his name. I surely could not turn this girl down for a room, and let's be frank, I needed the business. I told her she could have a room for a month for $300. That should surely cover all my bills. Usually that room would go for 500 or more. But I could tell the girl was struggling obviously so I cut her some slack. To my surprise she plopped the 300 in front of me right there and then. Well alrighty then. That’s good I guess. She continued to astonish me, by keeping the strictly polite and kind way of speaking. Not too many young folk speak as pleasantly as this one did. Yet again not many this age have sons and are possibly the most stunningly gorgeous person alive. I notice also that she looks completely exhausted and could possibly faint at any moment now. When she asks if there was any way that I could repay her, I simply say that she had to get some sleep. But first she said she had to get Steven settled and get their things in. Steven must be her sons name. So I insist on helping her with her things and she leads me outside to retrieve her things. We walked for all of maybe one minute maybe less, until we reached an old beat up Honda. She opened the trunk, and I proceeded to get out 4 bags, that left 2 bags. She opened the side door to the back seat and climbs in and very slowly and carefully climbs back out with a small sleeping child in her hands. The small boy looked like an angel too, like his mother. I was so deep in thought, I had not noticed I was staring at the girl. We stood there for a moment until I remember she doesn’t know where she’ll be staying. So feeling so completely stupid, I go back and get the key and walk up to the room. When I get there, I stick the key into the doorknob and unlock it. I open the door, and set her things down into the bedroom and when I get back in I see her looking around in…awe. She proceeded to thank me for my kindness over and over again. She clearly was not used to people being nice to her, hell, judging from her reactions she thought I was gonna punch her out, then spit on her and tell her shes not worth anything. I think I should let the poor girl rest, so I quickly excused myself. But before I could leave, she got my attention. She stopped to state her name. Sandra Leruzko. Quite an odd name, but graceful, matching her again, perfectly. I walk down the hall thinking about what just went down. She, this Sandra, truly was stunning. Everything about her was enchanting. Her face, her voice, her body, her hair, her smell that had the distinctive scent of lilacs and vanilla. Not like those strong nasty smells those young girls like to wear, but like a soft sweet one, that would make you sleepy. And also I have noticed something else. The way she walks. Entrancing, elegant, and flowing, but there is something else (seemingly like everything else that belongs to her) that’s heartbreaking. I know cliche, but it's there. Something about her makes me want to comfort her, give her hug, and tell her everything is going to be alright. I think I’d like to offer to baby-sit her angelic looking son. It’s not like I'll be having anything better to do! This just might just be an interesting month after all… We'll just have to see now won't we??4
