Chapter Three:1

I was embarrassed and ashamed.2

I was embarrassed because during my…accident… I was down right naked. I was running around butt and chest naked. Oh my god. Not even Michael got to see me naked, but his killer did. Anyway, that’s probably why Bo had covered his eyes. Poor boy and his innocent eyes.3

I was ashamed because I wanted to drink Bo’s blood. Bo was a child for goodness sake! And I wanted to drink him dry. What was happening to me?4

“You’re a monster because of me,” Alister said in a whisper. Alister’s the beautiful killer. Humph. The killer had a name.5

“Yes, I thank you. I’m a monster! At a young age I’ve become what most people have feared. A monster. Isn’t this wonderful?” I said. I began tapping my foot. I wasn’t in the same forest anymore. I ran and ran until the scent was different. I didn’t want risk it being close to Bo and Grandpa. They were nice people and I didn’t want to kill them.6

But I did want to kill Alister. Wouldn’t it have been better off if I was dead? I’d rather be dead than be a horrible bloodsucking monster. 7

“I’m sorry,” he whispered again.8

“Apology not accepted!” I shouted. Alister looked up at me. His honey brown eyes looked at me hurt. I regretted shouting.9

“I’m sorry for yelling, I’m just really confused. I…I don’t know what’s going on, and I’m afraid to ask,” I told him as I plucked out a flower. I recognized this flower. It was a yellow daisy. I could recognize any flower.10

Before I became poor, I lived in a realm full of flowers. Flowers were my passion then. When I got to live in my own world and had nothing to worry about. Father had a greenhouse built just for me. It was full of many flowers and I would study them for hours. They were attractive, physically and scent-wise.11

“Holly, do you know what you are?” Alister asked bringing me back from my memories.12

“A monster,” I muttered.13

“Well, yes. But we do have a name. It’s vampires,”14

“Oh what? You disgusting creatures have a name? Oh please! And vampires do not exist,” I said as a matter of factly.15

“Oh, you’d be surprised what exists and what not,” Alister replied with a grin slowly appearing on his beautiful face. I frowned. Was he playing with my mind?16

“For goodness sake!!” I shouted again frustrated. “All my fourteen years of living, I know what’s real and what not,” I said and unlady like, I glared at him. Alister’s eyes widened.17

“You’re…fourteen?!” Alister asked shocked. I nodded my head. “You’re sooo young!” He said and got up and began pacing.18

“Can…can you explain to me? All about this…vampire stuff…” I asked hesitantly. I just can’t believe it. Vampires “exist” and now I’m one of these “Vampires”19

“Well, we mostly live on blood,” Alister started. I sat down crossed legged. My dress was all dirtied up and ragged. It was still the same dress I wore when I was…attacked.20

“What did you do to Michael?” I asked.21

Alister was hesitant. “I…I drank his blood, and since it was sooo good, I kind of lost control of it,”22

“What did you do to me?” 23

Alister didn’t say anything. He looked around but didn’t look at me. I stared at him hoping he would get the message.24

“Any day now,” I said. He sighed.25

“I…since I couldn’t kill you, I turned you into a vampire, a half vampire,”26

“Why couldn’t you kill me?” I asked curious.27

“I…I don’t know! There was something stopping me… and well you’re blood was sooo tempting, I drank a bit of it. It was delicious,” Alister commented.28

“Wow! Isn’t this wonderful!? My blood is delicious! Thanks for letting me know that!” I said with a glare.29

“Do you want to know or not, I mean clearly it makes you mad,” he said with a frown. He’s frown was beautiful. 30

NO! Holly don’t think that! He’s the one who killed your husband and turned you into a monster! Not good not good at all!!31

Alister cringed. “I’m really sorry, I mean you’re sooo young and…I just lost control of myself, and I was being selfish! I’m sorry for taking you away from that life,”32

“You’re making it sound like…I’m dead,” I whispered.33

“Don’t worry! You’re not dead, not much,” he told me.34

Oh great. I’m a freak and I’m sort of dead. Dazzling!!!35

“Wait, you said I’m half a vampire,” I said recalling what he just told me. Alister nodded his pretty little head.36

“Yes, you are. The venom in my teeth is now in your blood. But, I stopped your transformation half way because....” Alister paused. He probably took something out. “So, now you’re a half vampire. Which means you’ll have cravings for blood and you change physically. But you still have your human qualities such as regular food, your heart is still beating and when you’re embarrassed your cheeks turn a beautiful pink,” Alister said with a smile and placed his hand on my cheek.37

I hadn’t noticed he had come sooo close. I could feel his cold breath on my face. His honey brown eyes looked down at me. He was smiling a sincere smile that made me suddenly shy.38

I stared at him, enchanted by his beauty. An angel.39

Alister began to growl. I looked at him confused. He put his hand back to his side, and glared at the ground.40

“What’s wrong?” I asked.41

“Nothing, I’m thirsty,” he said and began to walk away.42

“Wait! I have more questions!” I said walking behind him.43

“No more, not today, maybe next time,”44

“But…what do I do now?” I asked.45

“I don’t know. Whatever you want to,” he told me.46

I stood there as I watched him walk away.47

He had a beautiful backside too.
