The phone rang2

“Jess, you ready?” was what the voice on the other end asked3

“Yea. I’ll be down”4

Jessica checked herself in the mirror one more time before she grabbed her coat and ran out the door. He parents were on vacation so she didn’t need to tell anyone. She was 16 and she was free for 2 weeks, so Jessica was going to a party with her best friend Monica.5

There was Monica waiting by her car. She was in a dark blue jean skirt and a yellow tank top. Her red hair was held back in a curly pony tail. 6

“So, you ready to go? You know Micheal is going to be there, and he’s been saying how he liked you” Monica said as soon as they both got in the car.7

“You sure?!?!” Jessica was starting to blush8

“Yes. Now let’s get out of here.”9

“Yea”10

They both lived in the same neighborhood. That’s how they met. Their parents worked in the same place, eventually becoming neighbors and their daughters became friends. Monica was the loud one that never stood down to anything and Jessica was the one that just was herself… usually a bitch but herself nonetheless.11

They arrived to an old abandoned house on Bryant park, a few streets away from Micheal's house. So they were sure to see him. There was already about 200 kids there. It was a senior hosting the part but they came anyway. As soon as they stepped out of the car you could smell beer and smoke. You could hear Lil’ John and Usher from a mile away12

Both girls were ready. When they stepped into the house Monica was grabbed on to the dance floor by her boyfriend Robbie; well what Jessica thought looked like her boyfriend Robbie, leaving Jessica there by herself. Monica was the one who dragged her here in the first place, so she just slid in the corner. 13

Minutes later someone’s hand are rapped around Jessica’s waste “Monica stop playing, Being nice wont change that you abandoned me”14

“Do I look like a Monica?” a deep voice said straight into her ear, followed by a little chuckle. Jessica turned around… it was Micheal. He was behind her smiling. His green eyes were glowing in the florescent lights and his brown hair came right above his eyebrows.   15

“Oh.. sorry. I thought you were Monica…Hi” that was all Jessica could say before she started to blush. 16

“What??” he screamed at her. “What did you say?? I cant hear you over this music.”17

“I said-” she started to scream at him, but he cut her off18

“I still cant here you. Lets go outside”19

Micheal smiled at his friends that were talking to some girls, they smiled back and gave a thumbs up, but Jessica was too busy to notice. They walked outside ‘is this really happening… is Micheal, the sexiest Jr. she had ever seen really holding her hand, leading her outside. No it must be a dream.’ That was all Jessica could think. Why would Micheal want her. Every girl at Helfler High wanted him, and Jessica thought there were much prettier girls out there then her, but he wanted her?20

They stopped at a bench around the corner from the house and sat“Yea, I think this is good... So what’s up?”21

This was real!! “Um, nothing really. What’s up with you. You know being the guy most girls want” 22

He just laughed “Nothing. You know I like you. And I would like to get to know you” he put on his million dollar smile.23

“Are you serious??  Well I like you to, but why me." she just wouldn't let this be true. "I mean of every girl at our high, why me?”24

“Because you are different. You are you. And I like that.” He leaned in for a kiss.25

Jessica could’t believe she just kissed a guy she barley knew anything about. She was on cloud nine, and loved it.  26

“Hey….. I’m not really diggin’ this place. Lets get out of here. My house is about a block away, so lets go there”27

She knew what he was up too, but she didn’t know what to say “Well I just can’t leave Monica here. We came together.”28

“Well she’ll be ok. She’s a big girl you know. Come on. We can just chill there until you want to leave… don’t break my heart now” those green eyes came into play. He knew Jessica was a sucker for green eyes, and he played to that advantage.29

Jessica fell for it. “Ok yea. Just hold on. I’ll be back. I’m going to tell Monica I’m leaving with you.”30

“She will know. Just come on”   31

“Okay” she couldn't’t turn the one boy she really liked down “… lets go.”  They left in his black buggy.32

She walked in, and the house was amazing. She felt poor compared to what she lived in. 33

He put his keys down and they both sat on the coach.34

“Um you want something to drink?”35

“Yea Sure”36

In the mean time she just looked at the house in amazement. “Here…. Its coke”37

“Thanks” Jessica took a sip and lights out. She was knocked out……38

Jessica woke up with a spiting headache. ‘was it all a dream?’ she thought. She looked around, hoping it was her bed she was in, but it was a strange room. Her shirt was on chair and her jeans wear tossed on the floor. Confused, she saw Micheal across from her sleeping. Then she looked down…. She quickly covered her mouth to make sure she would’t scream. A dead body was on the bed, covered in blood, and it was hers……………. 39
