I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! THAT MAN HAS NO HEART! 1

explanation- i finally told my dad that i wasn't coming out to california this year to see him. he didnt take to that very well. i explained to him that before i get on the plane, i get physically sick and it's emotionally draining. i hate being cooped up in the condo all day while he is at work. he does take sometime off, but it's not enough. after i told him this he called me a liar. i called him on the phone and he said that i needed therapy to deal with my problem. this coming from the man WHO WONT EVEN MOVE ANY OF HIS GOD DAMN SCHEDUALE AROUND JUST TO SPEND TIME WITH HIS DAUGHTER!2

THIS MAN HAS NO HEART AND IT FEELS EVEN WORSE FOR THE SIMPLE FACT THAT HE DOESN'T BELIEVE ME! I AM DONE WITH HIM!3

not to mention he made me go to my doctor twice within 5 years because he thinks i have an eating disorder. i also had to go to a psychiatrist and a dietition just to prove him wrong.4

am i right to be done with him after all he's put me through? 5

opinions please.

        Then threaten that you wont have anything to do with him if he continues. If you've already done that then I guess you gotta do what you gotta do. If he's that much of a jerk then he doesn't ever deserve your awesomeness. =)

    Good Vent ~~

    All i can tell you is that you only have one family. My father wasn't the greatest guy, but i will never simply 'be done' with him. I'm sorry that he doesn't make time for you, accuses you of having disorders and wants you to see doctors, but my best advice would be to keep trying to make him understand your side of it. Even if you are only saying the same thing over and over...in the end, if he still doesn't understand, then at least you can say that you tried.

    I hope this works out for you in the end and that you and your father can find some common ground. Even if it only consists of phone call conversations.
