AJ was always wondering what it would be like to meet a dark-hunter up close in person, but how would she meet the one thing she was suppose to fear at night? Go ‘Oh hey, my name is AJ and I know all about you guys and the world of Dark-Hunters.’ She would most likely get killed or end up in a psyche ward.10

Especially since everyone including her family already thought of her as a nut case. She saw things in her dreams. Premonitions, and ten she saw a skotos that seemed to be turning Gallu. How could she explain to her mother about this new world tat she herself had just been introduced into?11

She waited for the afternoon bell to ring so she could leave her school and start texting her friend Steven who was the only person she could talk to about this without being given the this-girl-is-crazy look. She hated that look. So what if she was different from other normal eighth graders. It didn’t mean she was a psycho out to destroy the world.12

Unlike Apolloymi. Acheron’s mother who was stuck in Kalosis. Acheron couldn’t see her or else he would bring forth the end of the world. After all the Atlantean Goddess had sworn to make Apollo to pay for killing her son and Artemis for damning him so. He didn’t seem to mind anymore now that he had his true love Soteria. Otherwise known as Tori.13

“Wher r u?” she texted.14

‘at the tree house, waiting 4 u.’ he replied shortly after she began walking towards his house. She slipped her version wireless voyager into her back pocket and increased her speed in walking. During her little fast walk she could have sworn she felt someone watching her. 15

She made it to the tree house behind Steven’s house in a record of time. Steven’s father made it for them when they were seven, the tree house took up the entire tree, winding stairs, been bag chairs, water proof ceilings and walls, windows, and more to come. There were two floors the first their modern hang out and the second where some beds were just in case they wanted to have their own personal little sleep over. There was a cabinet with junk food and bottles of water just in case they were to get hungry and if they anted something to watch they had the portable DVD player and TV.16

AJ climbed the rope latter to the railing, climbing over the edge of the little porch they had and pulling in the latter so no one could bother them. She saw Steven through the class doors of the tree house on the porch, sitting on the black bean bag chair, typing in his laptop. His classes where at the tip of his nose, his shaggy brown hair going slightly past his ears. 17

Steven was one of her nerdy-like friends. He was fairly attractive, but she wasn’t interested in him. Never would, never will be.18

“Hey Stevey.” She spoke as she opened the class door and left it ajar slightly. He looked up from the lap top to give her a warm smile and then set down his lap top. 19

“You know those Dark-Hunters of yours?” He asked.20

“Yeah?” She replied, curious to where this conversation was leading.21

“Well it is a website. I am on it right now. There are these people named Kyrian, Talon, Jean-Luc, Sundown, Zarek, and more. Kyrian, Talon, and Zarek are no longer Dark-Hunters though. Just like your dreams.” She remembered them. She remembered how Kyrian had been handcuffed to Amanda and they were left to battle it out between themselves and Desiederious. How Talon had his little marathon with Sunshine, finding out that they were destined mates for ever. How Zarek quoted ‘Little Prince,’ all so well with Astrid daughter to Goddess of Judgment, and sisters to the Three Fates. There were other dreams, more of them.22

“You have officially opened a new door, baby.” AJ shook her head a she walked over to her friend and sat down in the bean bag next to him. She grabbed her own laptop that was not to far away from the bean bag and then opened it, turning it on and then waiting. She wanted to check this out herself. 23

“You should get off that, just in case. You actually have a GPS in that, I don’t have one in mine. And plus I scrambled my IP address to make it seem like a computer in a local café. “ Steven nodded as he shut down his own lap top and pushed closer to her to observe. She waited until she could log onto her own page and clicked onto FireFox. She typed in the URL www.dark-hunters.com and waited for the site to appear.24

She held her breathe at the sight of the one thing she thought was just crazy dreams going on in her head. The websites lighting was dark, due to the fact that Dark-Hunters had very sensitive eyes. She began clicking through the pages, most of them locked to her. It wouldn’t be a problem seeing she was a hacker with things. She could hack into social securities in less than ten minutes with her cell phone, which was just sad.25

--26

Acheron groaned when he heard his cell phone go off. He rolled over onto his back, pissed that he had to leave embracing Soteria to answer. He grabbed his cell phone form the night stand besides him and picked it up. It was Talon.27

“Hey T-Rex, there is some one hacking in the Dark-Hunters page.”28

Acherons eyes widened at the news. “Do you know who?” He asked.29

“No idea, this person’s IP address is all fucked up and here is no GPS signal. They are getting into anything they want, all the Dark-Hunter’s files and everything. You should come down here.” The line went dead.30

“What is going on Achimu?” Soteria asked, moaning. Her buttocks rubbed against his groin, making him harden instantly. 31

Resisting the urge to take his love right there and now he spoke, “Someone is hacking into the Dark-Hunter page.”32

“Well that isn’t a good thing.” Soteria sat up and stretched quickly, hurrying off the bed. “Get dressed, times a wasting.” He had to adore his beautigul angel.33

At the Squires council several people were trying to track down the location of where the hacking as being placed. There were various places all around the world, all narrowing down to places in the U.S. Talon was there to greet them explaining on when it started and all the files it was going for. There was no harm being down or anything. The only files that were being uncovered were those of the Dark-Hunters who freed themselves from Artemis’s service as a Dark-Hunter. Kyrian, Talon, Wulf, Zarek, and Ravyn, Well Ravyn hadn’t freed himself. He found his mate instead and is still continuing on his role. 34

“There must be a lot of people doing this. There is no way that just one person can bypass so many walls in so little time.” Talon spoke.35

--36

“I can’t believe this. They have so many walls for so little things.” Steven said aghast as he looked at all the walls AJ was getting by. This was nothing for her. She was use to hacking into things to get what she needed in life. Her mother and father never really did anything for her or supplied anything. They just fought a lot.37

“These aren’t little things. This is big. No one is suppose to know about this world. We are suppose to like our lives without knowing the dangers that lurk in the corner every night.” AJ corrected. Steven nodded as she read through the files of the Dark-Hunters who had been killed, knowing all and each of their stories. Ravyn’s friend Ceal who had the Appolite wife, now both of them Daimons. She knew everything all from dreams.38

“Can’t we get in serious trouble for this?” Steven asked. That was right. Even though she has fucked up her IP address enough they would eventually find out where the hacking is coming from. Instantly she stopped with her hacking, keeping the files she already had, copied into her laptop. She shut down her computer and turned it around on her lap to quickly undo everything in the back to get to the circuit board. 39

AJ spent the next few minutes resetting everything in the back on the laptop, taking the memory out of it and replacing it with another laptops. She made sure that the IP was even twice as messes up as it was before she left everything alone and went to the cabinet to grab some cheez-its. Steven was trailing behind her.40

“This-this means that your dreams are real. They are actual people.” Steven said as AJ opened the box and began plucking cheez-its out to stuff down her throat. She looked at her friend. This meant that Acheron could find them if he found out about the hacking.41

“We are screwed aren’t we?” He asked. 42

“I don’t know. I suggest we hide the laptops somewhere away from the tree house and my house for now. Let’s say, the forest?” Steven nodded quickly. They had their own little house there too, but it wasn’t as nice as the tree house. No one went inside it, because they were afraid it was haunted or something and that the ghosts would come out and kill them. 43

---44

Acheron had tracked it down to a small town in Maine that was mostly surrounded in forest. He was tracking the signal to the computer and it was leading into the forest of the town. He sighed as he tried to keep his nerves calm. Te only house out in the forest was abandoned so it would mean that the hacker or hackers could be in the house screwing with them.45

As he came closer he could whispers in the forest.46

“It s getting to dark out to be out here, AJ. You know my parents will freak on me if they find out.” A male voice said, the fear clearly obvious.47

“Shut up, and be quiet. We just need to make sure that none of the high school kids try and be brave for once in their lives. We have to find a great spot to hide it.” A hushed female voice replied. It was stern and almost stoic, but he could sense the fear in it. What were ids doing out in the forest around ten at night.48

He appeared in front of the house and began to follow the voices, knowing they were upstairs in the attic from instinct, he knew to keep to the shadows and not be seen. Acheron appeared in the attic, the shadows engulfing him as he watched two kids talk. The male was around five-nine with brown haggy hair and glasses wearing a worn jersey coat, and faded baggy jeans while the female, AJ, wore black skinny jeans, disappearing under knee-high, buckled boots. Her coat was blood red, her hair a long dark brown, and her face hidden from his view. 49

Steven stepped backed, the floor giving out a little under his left foot. AJ cursed at him as she grabbed his coat and pulled him closer to her. “Be careful. You’re the only friend I have, and I don’t want to lose you because I am stupid. If you want to wait outside you can, but I need to look around here.”50

“AJ, just leave them here so we can go. It is your fault you hacked into their system anyway!” Acheron was appalled. A kid had hacked into their system.51

“I wanted to see if my dreams were true! Sorry if I wanted to feel like I wasn’t going crazy!” she shot back at him. Something stirred in the air. “Steven I think I am going to listen to you.” AJ felt someone watching them. 52

“Why now?” Steven asked.53

“I don’t feel safe here.” AJ replied as she grabbed Steven’s coat and shoved him towards the stairs. Acheron could see her face now. It was childish, her eyes pitch black themselves. Could she feel his presence. 54

“That’s not a good sign.” Steven spoke as he began walking faster towards the stairs. AJ turned to examine the room more closely, trying to see anything that would make her feel more safe. Nothing but darkness.55

“Do you think it is the Daimons?” Steven asked.56

“No. They don’t like the cold. They would have to un-wrap the person before sucking them dry. To much work for them.” AJ replied as she heard Steven go down the stairs. 57

“Gallu?” Steven called from the stairs.58

“No. They don’t usually come to highly populated areas with lot of mirror reflecting objects. They tend to cringe away from mirrors.” She replied. 59

“Who else is there then?” Steven asked.60

She didn’t even want to reply. It would either be Acheron or the Charonte demons let loose, and in her dreams Acheron wouldn’t let that happen. That left her with only one more explanation. “Acheron,” she breathed as she turned around to see the very thing she didn’t want to see. A giant standing at six-eight with purple hair, a nose stud, and all clad in leather with the back pack slung over one or his shoulders.61

AJ swallowed the lump in her throat as she looked at the man. He was definitely sexy, but she didn’t feel the urge to attack him like the women from her dreams. She was just scared of him…..62

“AJ?” Steven called.63

“You were the one hacking into the Dark-Hunter page?” Acheron asked her. He couldn’t find out himself. Her mind was blocked from him, and that disturbed him. He wasn’t use to when human minds were blocked from him. 64

AJ stepped away from the man, trying her bet not to scream in fear of him. She shouldn’t be afraid of the one person who would more likely hurt himself than a defenseless human girl. She knew him from his dreams even though he didn’t know anything about her. “Ye-yes.” She replied stuttering.65

It was the last thing he was able to ask her. She fell through the attic floor.66
