Forgiven Love story

She had never yelled at him like that before.1

'He deserved it,' she reassured herself.2

Sally and Sage had gotten into a huge fight the other night. He had left the house to blow off some steam and none of them had seen him since. They were all getting pretty worried.3

'Jeese, it's raining cats and dogs out there!' Cye's remark brought her back to reality. The were all sitting around the living room watching T.V except for Rowen who was reading (big surprise).4

'Ring, Ring!'5

'I'll get it!' Sally said as she hopped over the couch to answer the phone. 'Hello?'6

'...uh, hey Sally.'7

'Sage? is that really you?' Everyone's attention was turned to her at these words. 'Sage where are you?'8

'...Sally, I'm right outside the window.'9

She ran to the window followed by the other four Ronins. She looked outside to see Sage standing outside soaking wet on his cellphone.10

'Sage...'11

The other four listened intently to their conversation. They watched her as she slowly walked to the door and opened it.12

'Sally, I'm so sorry. I just couldn't stay mad at you...Sally, i love you with all my heart.'13

There was a long pause.14

'Sage, I, I'm sorry too. i love you.' Tears started welling up in her eyes. He took the phone away from his ear. She ran outside into the pouring rain and jumped into his arms. He held her like it would hurt him to let her go. She stood there and cried into his chest while he held her close. Nothing mattered anymore. All that mattered was that she was in Sage's arms. She felt all her problems melt away. Then he lifted her face and wiped the tears from her eyes.15

'Sally, don't cry. I hate to see you cry.' Then without another word he took her in his arms and kissed he. The other Ronins looked on as their two friends stood there, kissing in the rain.16
