Varsity-chapter one

as she walked out of the school after practice with all her firends laughing around her she suddenly felt a chill. She turned around and found herself staring at nothing. The late septmber night was cold to begin with but she knew something else had made it colder.1

She had been on the school varsity cheerleading team since freshman year and now she was a junior. How she hated the begining of the year. how she dreaded it all. One more year she htought to herself one more freakin year after this.2

Since she had to get a ride from her boyfriend she waited for him to finish his practice. She thought of how they had first met. wel lactualyl the second time because the first time was a complete disaster. She didnt want to think about that. 3

The first time was during freshmen year she had just gone through so many things that summer. It was a couple of weeks into the school year and everyone had already gotten into extarcuyrricular activities. She had gotten into yearbook newspaper swim team and cheerleading so far. Her friends on the cheerleading team had planned a party for all of the sports. So everyone that was anyone at their high school was going to be there.4

The party was great and she knew it. She walked around met people. She htought arent cheerleaders supposed to go out with football players? she saw that alot and she wondered why she thoguht aboutthe cliche so much. But it was true most of the cheerleaders were going out with footbnall players. 5

At about 12am she saw the most gorgeous guy she had ever seen. She felt like she had seen him before. He was surronded by his friends and their girlfriends. He on the other hand seemed to be alone. She had made a packed with herself at the begining to take a risk everyday so she did she walked up to him to talk to him.6

As she got closer she got nervous. She stood with thew group for a while. Then when most of them had left and he was still sitting there.7

"HEy"she said really softly9

"hey" he siad back in his voice that she could not describe it10

they were quite for about 5 minutes when he spoke up again while he stood up and put his arm around her shoulder. She realized she didn't mind.11

"do you mind if i take you home" he stated instead of aksded12

"sure"13
