Cabin Fever {Part 4}

Whilst walking out of the bathroom, Jay tried to grab Trinity around the waist. “Oh no you don’t.” she said, running around to her side of the bed. Her towel came loose and fell to the floor. “Oh shit.” She said, bending over to try and pick it up. Jay laughed at her. 1

“Ha, ha, not funny.” Trinity said. She turned around to Jay. She grabbed his torso, just above the towel. She tried to push it down but didn’t have much luck. He laughed when she let go in disappointment. He grabbed her by the hips and lifted her slightly off the floor, making her lose balance and fall on the bed. She was naked, lying on the bed. Jay was standing near her legs. Jay wasn’t sure of what to do. He wasn’t sure if Trinity was once again in one of her moods. She soon answered him. She hooked her foot around his leg and pulled him down on top of her. She kissed him fiercely, as though she would never kiss him again. She could feel him pressing on the barrier of the towel.  She stopped kissing him, locked in a thought about what she was doing. Staring into his eyes always made her think. She pushed him off her and sat up on the bed. She began to sob with her head in her hands. Jay tried to comfort her but she shrugged him off and she stood up to get dressed. She fumbled through the clothes in her suitcase, putting on some old, not so good underwear and trackies. She carefully folded all the other clothes and zipped up the case. Jay stood by her, utterly perplexed. 2

“Trin?” he said. 3

“What Jay?” she said, lifting her suitcase off the floor. 4

“What are you doing?” 5

“Going home.” 6

“But why Trin?” 7

She put the suitcase down and turned to look at him. 8

“I’ve fallen in love with you Jay, but I can’t do this.” She said, reaching up to touch his cheek. 9

“Do what Trin?” he said, placing his hand over hers. 10

“Be with you. I can’t give you what you need and you can’t give me what I need.” 11

She stretched up to kiss him. “Goodbye Jay.” She said, pressing the car keys into his hand. She picked up her case and turned towards the door and walked out.  She didn’t turn back to look at Jay, for fear it might break her heart even more. Jay was frozen to the floor. He heard the click of the door shutting and the scraping shuffle of Trinity’s feet on the gravel of the driveway. He ran, forcing his feet off the floor. He ran out the door with only a towel to cover himself. 12

“Trin, wait! Wait!” 13

Trinity stopped and turned towards him. He ran to her and embraced her, before looking right into her eyes. 14

“Trinity, I love you and I’m not letting you get away.” 15

“We can’t be together Jay.” 16

“Yes we can Trinity,” Jay begged, “Move to Nhill and we can get a place together.” 17

“Move in together?” 18

Jay nodded. 19

“Jay, you know I can’t do that, unless I’m married.” 20

Jay laughed and in his towel bent down on one knee. The towel fell off and Jay was exposed. 21

“Then marry me Trinity.” He said, taking her hand.  22

She kissed him, “Yes.” She said, before sitting on his knee, making him lose balance and fall to the gravel. “Where’s my ring?” she asked. 23

“I don’t have it yet.” 24

“That’s very disorganized of you.” Trinity said mockingly. 25

“Well,” he said poking her softly in the stomach, “I didn’t plan on falling in love this weekend.” 26

Trinity laughed, “I know.” 27

“How about on the way home tomorrow, we stop in at Geelong and you can pick a ring you like?” 28

“Really?” 29

“Yeah really.” 30

“Thankyou Jay.” She said, kissing him. She jumped up then and grabbed his towel from the ground. She began running around the driveway, waving the towel screaming “Ha, ha,” at Jay. 31

“Trinity, stop it!” Jay said blushing. 32

“I just love watching you squirm.” Trinity said, bending down to kiss him teasingly. 33

“Lets go inside.” Trinity said, helping Jay up and wrapping the towel around his manhood. 34

“Yeah, lets go inside and celebrate our engagement.” Jay said, taking Trinity’s hand and kissing it. She grabbed her suitcase and they ventured inside the cabin to raise the temperature in celebration.35

Umm... this part was err... okay I suppose. I'm going to be honest. I have no idea why Trinity is so... depressed and... emotional and well... moody. You say Corey rushed her and hurt her. Well... I think she's being silly- loves right in front of her and she's not taking it. What's up with that? I'll go ahead and read the last part and hopefully it'll change my mind on this whole series.
