Squirrels attack

Chapter 11

Sitting near the camp fire waiting for my friends to return from collecting wood for the fire while my parents and bother went for a walk, i watched as the fire continued to burn and sparks flew. I got up to get a soda. When I turned around and saw a squirrel sitting on the table. I ran to the van to press the horn to try to scare it away but when I opened the door there was a squirrel there too. I backed away in panic noticing that there was a mob of squirrels that were surrounding me. soon I had nowhere to run I was trapped. 2

Just when I thought it was all over this was the end for me, I heard a cry and i turned around to see a squirrel covered in yellow paint. I looked a little higher and saw my friends standing there with paint ball guns. They quickly picked a bunch of the squirrels off. and tossed me a paint ball gun. 3

"Thanks, now what the heck is going on?" I asked. We all continued to shoot paint balls at the squirrels. I ran back to the van to get the hatchet. But the one squirrel was still there. it tried to attack me but my friend Tyler got in the way with his shot gun and blew its head off. I grabbed the hatchet and turned around to see Tyler getting dragged away, by squirrels. i tried to run after him but I was too late i still had to try though. Alex got in my way before i could even get close to catching up to them. 4

"Beth, let them go its too late. We'll go save Tyler after we come up with a plan." Alex told me. "I already have a plan... that is for ME to go after them and save my friend while you guys just sit around trying to think of a plan! I wont let them kill one of my friends." I practically shouted. He looked at me and said, "If you go after them now they'll just kill you than they will kill Tyler. I really don't think that they are going to kill him... Just trust me its better if you stay with us and plan things out." I nodded and looked away sadly. Thinking it should be me that they took not Tyler. "This is all my fault i should have been in Tyler's place he shouldn't have been captured like that." I said not thinking that my family or friends were listening. 5

"Beth this isn't your fault you weren't expecting this to happen, and don't worry we are going to save Tyler. Things will be alright. we aren't gonna give up." 6

Chapter 2 7

That night we headed down to the ranger's cabin to stay for the night and we told the ranger what had happened, he laughed. I looked at him seriously and said, "You wont be laughing when they come to pick off you or someone you love." He stopped laughing and I turned my back to him and the others and walked back outside. 8

Outside I stood looking at the sky in a deep thought, and then Malvin came out. "Beth, are you okay?" He asked, I didn't respond. "Beth?" Still no answer; he put his hand on my shoulder and I jumped. "Huh?" Malvin looked at me concerned. "Beth, are you alright?" he asked again. I nodded. "Melv, I am leaving tonight, after everyone is asleep I am taking the van and leaving, I have to go save Tyler." I told him, he nodded and replied. "Beth are you sure you want to go through with it, I mean if you stay here we can help." I shook my head. "Malvin, I cant stay here, one of my friends needs help and I can't just sit here watching and waiting, who knows what could happen in that amount of time." I explained. He smiled. "I understand, you have to do what you have to do, just be careful doing it okay." Malvin replied, walking back inside. I followed. 9

That night after everyone went to sleep i quietly grabbed my dads walet, and the keys to the van. Slipping out the door careful not to make any noise. When i got there i saw Daniel, Alex, Greg, Tiffany, Shannon,  Malvin, and Carlos standing there waiting. "What are you guys doing here, why arn't you asleep with the others?" Daniel took a step forward and said, "Beth did you actually think you could leave without us? We're coming with you. You're our friend and we're here to help you." smiled. "Thanks guys, but you know this is going to be dangerous." I told them, they all shrugged. I unlocked the van and we all got in. I turned the key a little but not all the way to start it just yet I let it roll back some before starting it so that the sound wouldn't wake anyone. We drove off into the night not looking back. We kept driving and came to a shop and I pulled over the others looked confused. "we are going to need stuff we cant just go up to them and attack them head on with out any weapons or supplies." I said and we all got out and walked into the store. I grabbed a cart and started filling it quickly Bombs, paint balls, guns, grenades, gasoline, matches, knifes, poison, rat poison, flash lights, batteries, walkie talkies. After getting a decent supply, I had Malvin pay for it while the others and I piled it into the van. We got back in and started driving again. 10

After hours of driving now, "Beth do you have any clue where you're going?" Daniel asked. I replied with a simple, "Nope."11

Just then I swerved into a stop. "WHAT THE HECK BETH! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL US ALL?"Carlos shouted as he watched me get out and run to the back I opened the van gate and grabbed a paint ball gun and paint balls, they all watched not knowing what I was up to then out of nowhere a squirrels jumped on the windshield. They understood then that we were under attack and I was up to trying to save us. I picked some off telling the guys "If they take me go on to save Tyler don't worry about me I'll take care of myself, just remember no matter what happens you've got to work together on it." 12

Then I was ambushed by a group of squirrels and dragged off into the woods. 13

Chapter 314

The rest of the pack disappeared as well. The guys were left there in shock. Daniel tried to go after me but was stopped by Edy. 15

"Beth said if she gets captured to go on with out her, I think she gave in other wise they wouldn't have been able to hall her off so easily." Edy explained. Daniel tried to shove Edy aside but was stopped once again. 16

He got back in the van as Carlos closed the gate of the van and Malvin took the drivers seat. 17

" Ithink Edy was right. Beth probably got captured on propose." Malvin said breaking the complete silence that was there. 18

why did she do that and what is her plan? was everyones question. they had no clue what i had been up to, and to tell the truth, neither did i, but that didn't stop me from doing what i had to do. They drove in cold silence, none of them knowing what to think. Just then a phone rang. Carlos looked down and saw my cell phone still in the van. He picked it up and answered it. "hello?" he said. 19

"hello, who is this, wheres Beth?" the voice at the other end of the phone replied. Carlos responded..."beth is unavailable at the moment, this is Carlos, her friend, who is this?" The girl on the phone sounded annoyed how it was and just hung up on Carlos. Carlos hung the phone up and put it down again but just as he did it rang once again. 20

"hello?" He answered again. 21

"hello, this is Nichole, may I please speak to beth?" the girl replied. "shes not here, we don't know where she is." Carlos told Nichole. "I know where to go but i cant help you guys because i am not there, other wise i could help, well sorry bye..." she said quickly. "Wait!" he exclaimed. "You know where to go and how to get there? and you know this how?" Carlos asked quickly. "i just do." she replied. 22

Moments later they had picked up Nichole and were on their way to where they thought Tyler might have been. 23

"TYLER!" I yelled running to where they held him. he was trapped in a cage. Before i could get even close to Tyler they pulled me back. 25

"Beth, what are you doing here?" he asked watching the squirrels shove me in a near by cage. "I was coming to save you when they captured me." i replied calmly. "YOU WERE WHAT? Beth that means what i did back there to save you is useless!" he practically yelled as he looked at me angrily. i shrugged, "not really because i wasn't alone on this and they are on their way to save you. and we'll have to wait and see what they have in plan for our furry little friends here" Tyler just turned away from me, what he didn't know was i did indeed get captured on purpose, because i had a plan but i wasn't going to share it with anyone till the time was right.26

Chapter 427

It got dark fast, and everyone was asleep I had my bag with me it was out side the cage. I reached through the bars and barely managed to grab it I pulled it through the bars and opened it up there was a paint ball gun packed with paint balls. there was other stuff too but I grabbed out the paint ball gun. Tyler woke up and said "Beth what are you doing there's cameras set up around." I slid the gun in-between the bars and over to his cage he grabbed it. "well its to bad cuz I am not staying here and neither are you and that's that they are probably know what's going on any way and are ready waiting for us. So get ready "I said to Tyler. I pulled out another paint ball gun and shut my bag slipping it onto my back. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a paper clip and picked the lock. Once i got out i went over to Tyler's cage and picked his lock and we headed for the doors. we raced out the doors but there was no one there. we looked at each other and kept going. It was odd that no one was coming after us not one single squirrel was on the attack as we ran I handed Tyler the bag I had another plan but he wasn't involved. I didn't look at him when I told him."Go on get yourself out of here I got something to do, something to settle knowing the guys they will be out there by the time you get through the exit doors. Nicole my friend knows where we are and had them go get her so they should be here any time soon go...NOW!" he looked surprised and refused "I can't we are in this together now your coming with me." I turned to him and shoved him "NO I AM NOT, DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND THAT. AND DON'T YOU SEE THAT IF YOU STAY HERE WITH ME YOU'LL ONLY GET IN MY WAY. I CAME TO SAVE YOU AND THAT'S WHAT I DID NOW I HAVE SOMETHING TO FINISH SO YOU HAVE TO GO NOW! CANT YOU SEE I WANT YOU TO FORGET ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS TO ME I HAVE OTHER PLANS AND YOUR NOT INCLUDED!" he looked hurt when I said that, but I had to do what I had to do and he didn't seem to understand that. I ran the other way heading back to the room that we were kept in he didn't follow yet he didn't move. Just then Nicole, and the others came running through the doors I was out of sight...They grabbed Tyler and dragged him out of the building... 28

Tyler shoved them off as soon as they were outside. he looked hurt and angery. "Beth ran the other way. she said she had something to finish...shes going to get herself killed." No one said anything they just truned back towards the van and started walking. "what the heck? some friends you are!!! letting Beth go in there alone. shes going to die and all you guys are doing is walking away! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!!!!!" Melv opened the tail gate of the van and everyone started grabbing things basicly almost everything they could carry or get their hands on. Alex tossed Tyler some things and they explain their plan to him. "Nichole and I will try to find the power room to cut the power while the rest of you go find beth and the squirrels. Beth is going to need all the help she can get. Nichole and I will be fine on our own we'll catch up to you later." Alex explained. Tyler intruputed. "No i been in there i know the place rather well you wont make it on your own so... Greg,  Carlos Nichole and Alex head to the power room then meet up with us later. thats not an idea thats an order. beth would do the same thing now lets go." No one said nething they just followed Tyler back into the building.29

Tyler lead them down a long hall and through some door it was like a maze. as they traveled through each door it lead them down a long empty hall.each one leading back to the begining.30

They turned down the hall where Tyler had been kept prisoner. Just as they did a pack of squirrels attacked them. They picked off the squirrels with ease and continued to go down what seemed like endless halls.Each time they got ambushed by squirrels and fought them off, as they did it seemed to get harder and harder each time. there were either more, or they were stronger, and some of the time even both.31

Chapter 632

When finally they reached the main room where i stood fighting a battle alone with only a paint ball gun in hand. They came rushing to help me as each of them killed the squirrels getting closer to my aid.  When out of nowhere Nichole. came up and attacked me with a sword, but before she could a guy wearing a hood shot her in the arm. She dropped the sword. She turned around in shock. "w-why?" She asked staring in confusion. just as Tyler handed me a gun, as he continued to pick off the squirrels. While she was busy staring i stood behind her waiting. when she turned around, I shot her. 33

Needless to say she died. But the guy in the Hood stood there for a moment. watching as the squirrel army continued to fall. I turned my back to him and helped the others bring down the squirrels. 34

As we fought. it seemed to be impossible to win the pack of squirrels never ending. 35
