Ok, these are the lyrics for a song for my band (Deus Sceptrum, Google to find out more 
). Prolly the darkest lyrics I have, some of the saddest at any rate.
Note: These lyrics are not emo, nor is the band emo. The band does Gothic metal, and is dealing with a hard spot in the girl in the stories life (concept album, fifth song here). I do not hold to her view of killing herself to get away from reality. ^____^

the nice thing with songs is that they don't have to be "wordy" since the singer and musical instruments can provide most of what the lyrics don't say. As is, it's very dark, but I am curious as to how this will be sang
and played.
btw.. The first stanza reminded me of the movie "What Dreams may Come" ^_^ and congrats on the HM

I think it captured this girl's irrationality quite well, and I love how you ended it, what with her not jumping and all. Gives a touch of relief to an all too common thought process.
I don't have any suggestions on making it better, but in the first chorus, you missed an I.

Yea, no way I'd actually make her jump. I suppose this (album) could partly be a satire on the way people try run away from trouble. Heh.
I do actually have it all recorded, not finished being mixed though. But I can send you a demo version if you want to hear. I'd need an e-mail or something to send to. It's one of my favourite songs in the album, everyone did a great job on it. I can say that, because I didn't have anything to do with the music, just wrote most of the lyrics.
