i think it's a joke

if no one else read the message of the day, it says something about increasing the minimum length of stories to 5k words and deleting all the ones that don't meet this standard in three weeks.1

i really hope that this is a joke2

    Kevin does this every year. Except he always thinks of something different.
    Last year I think he said that he was getting rid of free memberships, because they were costing him too much

    It's all a joke.
    And some StoryWrite members actually play jokes back (however you have to be careful not to break any rules, because he IS the owner, haha)

    I agree with you, it's a joke. At first I thought it was for real, but then, like five minutes later, I realized it was a prank for April's Fools Day. Hehe, I'm sure I'm right...At least, I hope I am.
