Thousand Mercies

Your love is higher than the mountains1

Peaceful as the serene seas2

It's your love that always strengthens3

I thank you for your thousand mercies4

In every moment of my life you are there5

I nurtured your love in me6

Like a holy creed,a silent prayer7

In every drop of my blood completely8

When I couldn't breathe,you infused life in me9

Helping me overcome my fears10

When I didn't have eyes,you helped me see11

You were always there to wipe away my tears12

Your love is higher than mountains13

When my soul is burdened 17

And troubles come my way18

You are always there in every second19

Never to have walked away20

Here I am,waiting for you in silence21

When you will come and sit with me22

Blessing me with your presence23

Your love will set my soul free24

    Hey, this is a good poem, but it's probably going to be dq'd from Kmp's contest. They only want between 30 and 50 words and yours is 200. I really like the repeated line "I thank you for your thousand mercies." I don't fully get what you mean, but it's a beautiful line. Great writing and keep penning.

    That was a really great poem, I could definately see the raw emotion in it. I also liked the simple but rythmic way it rhymed, good job and thanks for entering my contest.
