The poem was a silly rhyming verse predicated on the fact that chance was the prime factor behind your contest.
A very chaotic method of selecting a winner.
Lorenz 'discovered' the field initially and he was a meteorologist. His findings about repeatability and the discovery that even minute effects can alter the end result became known as the butterfly theory.....thus he found a butterfly.
You will be acquainted with fractals and Mandelbrot, Helge von Koch used triangles to capture Mandelbrots ideas as a visual representation (the fractals came much later)
The fact that Koch is so similar to the word for 'a male member' was far too juicy too resist (sorry) and the Koch curve just fell right into place lol
The world is looking yet is obvioulsy the fact that the depths of chaos theory have yet to be fully sounded.
Last verse returns to the contest idea of random chance.
K-os porn? a pun as you very well know. K-os being a quasi scientific rendering of chaos and porn is a sound-alike of pawn, ie we are all players and pawns on the table of life.

Ah, I've sat here trying to figure out the key. I know the Lorenz theory and at least know vaguely about fractals, but how you have intertwined them escapes me. I just did some Googling of Helge Koch and the Koch snowfake but still am at a loss, lol.
Fractal geometry is far beyond my 1+1=2 brain,
But I enjoyed the search.
