I'm Not Damned!

To many times I've been told that I'm damned to rot in hell because I'm bisexual and because I can not bring myself to call myself Christian not because I don't believe but because the Religion itself has been twisted and to often preachers will stand behind the pulpit and teach that we should hate anyone that doesn't believe exactly what they tell us is right...1

Honestly this is what I want to look at them and say...and trust me if the chance presents itself I will2

"I'm not damned, I can see what you don't that love not hate is the way to gain entrance into heaven that we must accept everyone else for what they are but first we must accept ourselves, and realize that we are what we are for a reason that this is how God made us because he has a purpose for us that we can not fulfill with out being this way...there are lessons in life that we must learn that are set out before us before we are born...it is our job on this earth to learn them...these lessons can not be learned if we are exactly what everyone else wants us to be...God does not make mistakes so my flaws are part of my perfection...we are all perfectly flawed and perfectly incomplete Like cracks in the glass And faded photographs and rather than trying to make ourselves what self righteous preachers tell us we should be, the same people that see the death of one as a tragedy but the death of a million as nothing more than a statistic, but rather we should teach those around us that we need to accept people the way they are that we may all be on different paths but all of them will lead us to the same point heaven oneness with God no matter what you call it and we need to teach not by speech alone but by example...to many people have twisted the meanings of what is written in the bible that it has become a weapon used against those that think differently than we do...but I have one thing that I must point out..the bible said "and you why do you despise your brother and you still why do you judge your brother for we shall all stand before the Judgment seat of Christ" Romans 14:10 do not judge people lead them with out being judgmental it's not your place by judging people you try to place yourself on a level equal to that of Christ...which is a bigger sin than anything that the people you are judging have done."3

Sorry for the length but I've really needed to get this off my chest lately sense I had a preacher call me an abomination I've been POed and haven't been back to a church...it's about time I got to rant and I really think that this has helped...Thanx and I hope you enjoy your contest entries...lol4

I hate it to. This girl was trying to justify her hate for gays. And in the end i got her to shut up without truly saying a word.

    Hey:)

yeah i know it is a little late lol but yeah i personally hate those kind of preachers because they put a negative spin on christianity. in fact, it happens to all religions. someone does something and says they are (insert religion here)then everyone else who is looks bad. oh well... love you!!!lmao

See I knew there was a reason I loved you...Despite being Christian you get my point with out taking offense...I swear it's kinda shocking...Funny story actually...I'll tell you in the morning...anyway...
      And
I know I know...but still...and Kam wonders why I won't go to church...finally just explained...but no I don't do well with being called an abomination by the one person that I thought could get me to be christian again... ugh...anyway...but know...I am by most things...just some things like that keep me from calling my self christian...Wicca just fits better as always for me anyway...but yeah...

      Love you Babe,

I can tell you typed this up in a hurry lol it's all one big long paragraph and it's pretty hard to read with no spacing or periods in between the words. I'm glad to see you writing again and this was a good rant. However, you talk about a touchy subject so I won't get into the details.
Being bisexual is NOT sin. Coming from a Christian it disgusts me that the bible states homosexuals will go to hell, and I guess this goes for bisexuals as well. I'm a bisexual, so does that make me some monster who deserves to rot in hell for all eternity? No, it shouldn't! Anyways, good work I really felt the raw emotion in this one

Thank you...sorry it was so hard to read..but like I said I was ranting...anyway...no...and NO where in the bible does Christ say that it is a sin to be gay...the way I see it sin is anything that stops or prevents love...so back when Christ walked the earth homosexuality would have been a sin because people depended on having heirs to take care of them...and the world population wasn't anywhere near what it is today....so homosexual relationships would have made it difficult to love back then but now...one the population is almost too high and we don't depend on our children to take care of us in our old age so there really is no reason for it to be a sin because it promotes love rather than slows it..but this is just my view....anyway...thank you for the comment...
