The True Crimes of a Shenali Part One

No one will believe me. I sometimes don't even believe myself. The images flash through my mind leaving blank spaces.It would leave any other child or, adult numb but, then again they are not Leio Shenali.1

I was born in a town outside of New York. That was 13 years ago and, everything has changed or has it?Everyone fled when "He" came.It started with children dissapearing.Then whole families vanishing. The little girl played with her doll through the window.I grimaced it was almost too easy. I knocked on the window. "Hello Allie, Are your mom and dad home?",I said with the sweetest smile I could muster.She opened the window for me. I swung one leg in then another. "No, Leio they said you would come and watch me," She said plopping down on a small chair located not far from the door. Her only chance of escape,the door.
