I sat up in bed utterly confused and crying. My whole body ached.
Last night I went to a party with friends. Got a little careless with the drinks and had a little bit too much.
I remember going up to get another can of beer and this young man, perhaps around 20, came up to me and was acting all friendly. We got to talking. I remember him saying he'd drive me home... Then I remember the pain, the force, and the damage he inflicted upon me.
I woke up in my bed with my clothes laying on the ground. I attempted to get up and get dressed, but shrieked out in pain. I then realized what happened that night...
I was taken advantage of and I have lost everything I held dear to me... My innocence, my carelessness, and my faith in men.
I curled up in bed, staring at the wall. There came a knock at the door and my boyfriend came into the room.
I looked up at him with fear in my eyes which made him confused. He sat down besides me and lay his hand on my shoulder.
I shied away from his touch. "What's the matter, Lizzy?" I remember him asking me.
I remember breaking down in tears and him holding me. I remember telling him all that I remembered happening that night and I remember him holding me tighter and promising that the guy who had taken advantage of me would pay.
My boyfriend, James, promised me that day that he'd never leave me... He never did. We are now engaged and soon to be wed.

OK... I only wrote this cuz Katie wanted me to enter her contest and I just couldn't say no to a friend. -_- I have no experence in rape so yes this isn't a very well writen story. I realize that it flows fast... I wrote it in a matter of 10 minutes. Give me fed back and perhaps I can shape it into a much better story. Thanks

I agree with the characters response at what happened to her. The scenario at the party, is a great theme for stories about rape. I think, if she weren't so careless--especially with all the alcohol, she probably wouldn't have been attacked. Her boyfriend being there for her is very commendable, but lets face it, what can he do? Comfort her, of course. It wouldn't be wise for him to want to go after the douche who hurt his girlfriend.
Aside from a couple misspellings, great write!
