Amongst all of my possessions, i value my Bible the most. It has everything i need. It answers all my questions, gives me reassurance and hope. Its like a log book of life to me because no matter the situation I'm in, i find it illustrated there. Its true, check this out:1
When I'm feeling sad, i open to Psalm 23,2
When i feel lost, i open to Jeremiah 29:11,3
When it seems everything is going wrong for me, i open to Romans 8:28,4
When i feel like i have nothing, i open to 2 Peter 1:3,5
When i have no money, i open to Philippians 4:196
When i feel like I'm a nonentity, i open to 1 Peter 2:9,7
When i feel like worshiping, i open to Ephesians 1:3,8
When i need to remember my prayers would be answered, i open to Ephesians 3:20,9
When i need to understand the times, i open to Ecclesiastes 3,10
When i need to know who is really in charge of my life, i open to Psalms 139:13,11
When i need to remind myself of how special i am, i go to Psalms 139:14.12
My dear, the list is endless, my Bible has so much in store for me that i haven't even discovered! Thats why i cant let go of it. Even if my i Loose my degrees and fame, family and friends, health or wealth, i simply cant let go of my Bible because i know that no matter what i go to, i can always seek for succor from it.
